Any Ohio Wesleyan fans on the board?

Here is the write-up by UMHB's SID on Saturday's game! Go Cru!

http://cruathletics.com/news/2015/9/3/FB_0903155815.aspx

I hope the video is good!
Yup I am and there are a few others. I am more of a baseball guy, but I still like reading and  occasionally posting.
It was a good right up. I appreciate the kind words about OWU and coach Watts. I was surprised to see UMBH was actually doing the video feed from Selby.
Safe travels to your team.

Wabash,  it's been fun. I know I got a lot of you really fired up. I tend to do that. I want you to know it was in good fun. You have to admit it was a little fun having a villain to target your scorn.  I did not mind taking that role. In the end, I am just a blindly devoted and probably a little misguided Tiger fan.

You guys were great hosts last year and I anticipate you enjoying your time at HSC.  If you are coming down, I feel obligated to offer you a beer, or bourbon, and a cigar for putting you all through my rants. We have a great tailgate and would love to have you stop by.  From the Wabash tailgate area there will be a wooded area directly in front of you, to the left of the wooded area a lake. We will be on the right side of the lake and the far back left of the wooded area. I have a very cool tailgate trailer. You cannot miss it. It will be worth the 100 yard walk just to check it out. I have a TV in it. We usually have on ESPN Game Day.

Here's a pic of my HSC Tailgate trailer.- https://pbs.twimg.com/media/COBGkR0W8AAJlBT.jpg

I hope you'll drop by. There will be lots of parents of Tigers there and I promise HSCTiger fan is a lot more fun in person at a tailgate than on the message boards.

Never hard feelings, bud.  Your brand of Tiger is just on this side of the hard feelings line.  The others this season, not so much.   :)

I would love to see that rig in person. Wow. That's serious hardware. My brother and I tailgate UTSA games and I thought our trailer was sweet but dayum.

It's Friday, and you know who in the NCAC has published game notes with depth charts?  Wabash.  End of list.  This isn't a Wabash is better than everybody else thing (because, I mean, obvs), this is a really? thing.  Really?  Are we not doing game notes anymore around the league?  It's the first week, man.  Not having game notes by Friday is like taking a delay of game penalty on your first snap after kickoff.

In related news, I whole-heartedly appreciate the hard work and effort by all SIDs out there.  It's a tough gig, I know.  I'm just bummed that I don't have more two-deeps to obsess over this week.   :)

I don't even recognize some of the Wabash ones, but I'll play along for fun...

Which ones? And share some of your own, if you'd like.

Other than Zurek, Putko and Koonce I don't really recognize any player names. Kind of easy to figure out by the question, but since I'm not a 'Bash or Squid fan, I don't really care that much either... I just fit together my answers by how I think the game will play out, which is a fairly large win by Wabash, so more rushing, less throwing, and eventually more second string. I also think HSC will try and run early with a few good lofts, but not throwing like mad. The questions about first TD and WTF are kind of governed by the toss for me, but I took a stab at them. It'll be interesting, but I'm not thinking it'll be a great game. I'll be at a friends kid's birthday party, so I won't even catch most of the games. Fortunately W&L plays tonight and I already told my wife she's on her own during the game...

Do you have any more insight on Kyree Koonce?  Is this kid a really, really big deal or what?

I've got nothing. The only thing I'll say is Coach Favret has always seemed to have a real legit DIII playmaker that he molds the team around. Is it Koonce? I don't know, but there will be one even if it takes a year to rejigger the team to take advantage of it.

If the ODAC has learned anything over the years, it is that anything is possible with Coach Favret!

BashDad

I'm officially, suddenly, nervous.

I hope he's as good as that reel, if only to get a real sense of our D outta the gate. Moore is legit too, it seems. That offense is going to be good. Maybe not tomorrow, but soon -- those are some talented dudes.
