At no point today did I think Wabash was winning this game. Even going into OT.

Wow...to keep the LG's under their average & get forced into OT...
Huge for OWU

Credit Wabash for a gutsy 4th quarter rally.
That being said, way too many questionable play calls and defensive mistakes to enumerate.  Hard to watch the decline of Wabash football.  Three games remain; two of them v. Wittenberg and DePauw.  Still time to rescue the season, although have zero confidence that will happen.
The holding call was unfortunate.  I thought that with 3rd down from the 17, Morel might want to get at least half of it back.  (But if the end zone throw is complete, we'd be singing a different tune.)  Would have been interesting to see if Wabash would have gone for two again, and what play the would have run.  Wishful thinking.
I was very much impressed with the OWU pass rush, and all in all with their defense, despite the 4th quarter.

when was the last time Wabash lost two conference games back-to-back?

Only time in the last 20 years (before now) was 2004 - 3 in a row and 4 out of 5 (Wooster, Wittenberg, Allegheny, beat Denison, DePauw).

Sup.  :)

Congrats on the win, nice to see OWU competing the way I remember from way back in the day (Frosty Rucker, anyone?).  Took full advantage of our Swiss cheese defense.

Maybe Tom Allen will need a job, and you all can talk him into coming back.
It's either a thoughtful comment or smartass sarcasm. Recognize the difference.

Congrats to the Bishops, that was an exciting win for them, and I can feel their joy.

Remember when if Wabash did not play it's best game there were a few NCAC teams that could beat them?  Now it seems Wabash can not play up to it's potential and it might not win even if it does.  Sad.

OWU has been one of those NCAC teams that I have no animus for. I want to beat them but I don't get too mad if we don't. Not like Witt or DPU, of course. Anyway, congrats to OWU. They deserve this win. They have a good defense and a high quality QB.

I'm not going to repeat myself about how we got here. Wabash can do better and we've chosen not to. So it just is what we saw today.

It's been awful but this train hit the tracks when we panicked in 2016 and made the easy hire instead of the right one.

Gone are the days when winning v. Wabash within the NCAC (with the exception of Wittenberg) would be considered an "upset."

WAF - Wabash Always Fair-catches
I don't know whether to laugh or cry at that!
