Can anyone share insight on the scenario where Witt ends up with the same # of losses, but one less win than the league leader?  Do they just finish in second or is there a possibility the Hiram game will be made up?

Interesting Witt-Denison matchup this weekend.  Both teams remain a bit of a mystery with Witt's cancelled game and Denison's close contest with Kenyon.

I imagine 'bash will light up the Scots.

DePauw always has their hands full in Delaware and I expect the Bishops will be motivated following what must have been a disappointing loss to Franklin.  Plus the Tigers are pretty dinged up.  Both Whitehead and Smith did not play Saturday.  Quigley did not play against Wooster.  Hoping all get healthy soon.

I don't envision this happening, but if that is correct, how much would it suck for Witt to lose the conference and the AQ because they didn't play for a certain win over Hiram?  I'm not saying I wouldn't laugh my ass off, but it would suck for them.

I haven't posted on this site since my son last played for DePauw in 2010.  But I have been attending all Monon home games since then and even some games at Wabash.  At 10AM, tickets went on sale for Monon.  I went online at 1002 and ALL parking passes are already gone except the oversize lot.  I called to check that it was real and talked to an Associate AD who said it was.  I have never ever seen that.  Either DePauw is restricting parking (which is certainly possible) or this game is as popular as it's ever been.  We will find out if ticket sales sell out in days or less.  My point is buy your tickets now if you plan to attend the game.

Thanks Pat.  Wow.  I played at DePauw 1981 to 1984.  Never really paid much attention to tickets back then because they were given to us.  If you needed more, you just asked your teammate who wasn't using his.  After I graduated, I went to Monon games until the early mid 90's and then we moved out of the area.  I didn't attend until my son started playing in 2007.  Have been going to home games ever since.  In all those years, I never had a problem finding a ticket or two.  To have those sell out in 2 hours is crazy.  It usually takes 2 weeks or more.  Glad I got mine.

I guess having a quarterfinal level playoff team can rouse up the Dannies' supporters!

For those of you interested, below is the link to Wooster's game notes in advance of this weekend's tilt with the Little Giants.  When Wabash posts its game notes, a second link will be added.

Wooster Game Notes

It will be interesting to see what Wabash has done with the bye week. This will be the first common opponent with DePauw, and the Dannies ran off to a 37-0 lead before calling off the dogs and their 2nd teamers gave up a few points.

Pretty impressive road win for the LG's today.  Campbell looked good, and Tyler did whatever he wanted.  Wooster broke off a long TD run early but not much after that.  Solid overall effort.

Oberlin might not score again until November 16.

Great to see Kenyon having success.

Little Giant 89

The Wabash v. Oberlin game which is taking place this coming Sunday will be the first Sunday game the Little Giants have played since 1960.

The game was moved from Saturday to Sunday in honor of the Yom Kippur holiday.
