I just saw that as well - that has to improve our strength of schedule, right??? :)

Finally, major thank yous to the Bishops for helping to restore order to the NCAC.  We just need to take care of our "unfinished business" the next couple of weeks to win the conference and set up a great Bell game.

There's really only one thing to say after that game today....

phew.

Way to give us a game, Witt.  That one had me worried for a while.

kcreds

Just got home from the game. The Bishops dominated this game. Next week will be the game to show who is the best of the rest, OWU at Witt, unless of course someone can steal a win against Wabash, highly unlikely. Enjoy this win tonight Bishops but tomorrow its get down to business and get ready for Witt. I knew Witt would give Wabash a game.

This is for those OWU doubters,   :P

kcreds,

then don't let me wait any longer to say "thank you" for the good work  OWU did today.

Think the Witt win will put Wabash in the top 25?  With #22 Wesley being blown out and Wheaton losing today I think the only question is what position they will be in within the d3football 25.   MUC & HSU's falls won't be far enough to make a difference for Wabash.  I doubt that UW-La Crosse will drop far enough to affect Wabash's rank.  So I am guessing 24 or 25 right now - probably 25, barring a Bethany miracle win over W&J.

I'll be interested to see what the voters decide.

Old Phart

I agree with you - probably #24.  Just not enough movement otherwise to expect anything higher.

Gheny - Took care of business.

Woo - Tough win, a win is a win!

Witt - Screen pass machine almost got it done.  Holmes is a tough kid. Murray is the real deal.

Denison - Big Red has some offense.

OWU - Great game.  We owe you one.  FYI - Witt throws a wicked screen.

Wally -

I don't know if you can really call it an upset, but I wasn't sad to see Hanover loose to Bluffton. ;)

No kidding BB. How far has Hanover (and the HCAC in general) fallen? I think you could see Rose go in there next year and take that conference over.

Li'l Giant -

That conference is way down.  I think Rose would have a great chance to park itself at the top of the HCAC.

Good call last week on the screen pass.......They hurt Bash today.

Re: OAC playoff scenario

They are saying in 94 when there was a three way tie, the NCAA selected the AQ and they chose Mount because that year they were defending champs.  This year is up in the air.  Of course we all have to get there for this to happen.
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

I'm trying to keep an eye on the Mount game.  But they dont have a link to their game on the radio.  I am stuck hitting the refresh button on their in game scoring summary.  No clue how much time left

If you had looked at the Scoreboard on our site you would have seen links to both the Mount Union and Ohio Northern radio, just so you know.

There was no AQ in 1994 to hand out. Everyone was an at-large team.

Not the Rose that lost to Sewanee today.

Mount St. Joseph has put together some pretty good teams recently (much better than the teams we played back in our HCAC days).  Not sure what happened to Hanover this year, but it certainly isn't one of Wayne Perry's better teams.  I think Franklin could be a sleeper if they can find some defensive help.

Li'l Giant

As bad as it is for Rose to lose to Sewanee the HCAC is on tough times right now and Rose may benefit.
