Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Wabash holds Albion in the Red Zone.  Takes the ball and moves out to another first down.

N. Central misses a 52 yard FG with less then a second left and looses to Capital.  21-19

What a game!

How did they have less than a second????

Good game Wabash.  Good momentum going into the game with Capital.

Also, yeah Buckeyes!!!!!!  One of the best OSU-Michigan games I've ever watched.

Oldguy:
It was a good Buckeye game. Carr should retire or be fired before someone shoots him.

Good victory Wabash. Good luck next week with Cap.

Oldguy -

Congrats to the little giants, continue representing the NCAC with class.
When it comes down to two people of equal talent, it comes down to heart, I don't lose often when it comes to heart.

Congrats to the Lil Giants!  Good show today in handing it  to Albion!  Get by Cap next week and you could be hosting MUC!  Good luck and keep representing the NCAC!!!

Whew....Little Giants looking good out there.  I think the score made it look closer than it was, although we need to tighten up the secondary before next week.  They only scored on big plays, I don't think they had a decent sustained drive all day.

Looking forward to Capital, and the soon-to-be-infamous turkey tailgate.

reality check

Congrats to Wabash for their first round win.  I am looking forward to the matchup this week.  I am sure we will all have some things to talk about in the next seven days.

Back from C-ville and Wabash looked very good today.  Harbaugh was unbelievable as his numbers show...34 of 39, 360 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INTs.  Those are just crazy.  One was a throw away, another was a rare Walker drop (great ball that could have gone for big yardage), and then that leaves 3 other throws...freaky!  Albion's players had some good remarks in the post game.  Russ also continues to hit all of his targets with 5 guys catching at least 5 balls.  Summers looked great today too, especially after the catch.

Albion's QB was very good but was running for his life all day long.  He took some shots too.  The score made it look closer then it was and I think Wabash came out today and took care of business.

Some other comments:
- it was nice to see a special teams TD on the blocked punt.  Salinas #95 - Bash fans remember this name (who got the block) is a freak and will continue to be a freak...he is scary.
- good to see 2 INTs - 1 from Billy King and the other from Thomas Bell
- Harbaugh was off the charts, how good are his receivers?
- NO Wabash turnovers
- KO coverage needs to buckle up, our kicks didn't help today for some reason
- Finley is now in a groove on PATs/FGs and also had some nice punts (knock on wood)
- Pynenberg & our backers are so solid!  They played well today!
- a nice crowd today and great environment.  A football crowd for sure with many former players coming back which is great to see...Mike Rapier, Killer Kilbane, Jeff Berens, Eric Schoettle, Mike Crnkovich, Bill Kennedy, Alex Costa, Jeff Relue, Mike Warren, Jamie Bopp, Josh Bronaugh, Tim Oliver, Lance Moore, Matt Gunty, Bill Padgett, Bill Brady, Bob Brady, Aaron Hoffman - spanning a lot of years since the middle 80's - I am sure there were many more but that's what this is all about!!!  Next week should be even better...

Go Bash and congrats on a very solid & decisive win today!  Bring on the Crusaders!!!

Left out one the best former players, Ryan Short was also in attendance.

How good was Russ Harbaugh today?  All season for that matter.  The running game was very good today.  Offense looked good.  Wasil was a very good QB.  I think he is the best that we faced this year.  Holmes and Wiedhoff were very good, but Wasil took some big hits and still made things happen.  Next Saturday can't come fast enough.  As always.
