Yep.  Wally's right.  We just couldn't catch the ball today, but the refs certainly didn't help matters.  They were the worst I've seen.

Anyway, a hell of a season, and look forward to next year, and all the other things you say when your team loses.  This one hurt a lot, mostly because we so could have won it.  It wasn't like in 2002 where Mount just whipped us.

Seniors, thanks for all the hard play, and everyone else, we'll see you next year.  Here's hoping we'll still be talking about the Little Giants this time next year.

Great game by the not so Little Giants. It was much to close for confort. We (CAP FANS) were very impressed with your croud and how loud you they were. Good luck to you all in the future!!!!!

Thanks CapFan, that's mighty class of you. I wish that it would rub off on some of the Mt. Unioneers.

Sorry I didn't use spell check. LOL

I have seen some posts and not giving you the credit you deserve. The Little Giants were more like Great Big Giants. Thanks again.

Congrats to Wabash on a great season.  I was down on the NCAC overall this year, but you guys were the real deal.

A couple of MT Union Posters get your panties up in a bunch and then you blame everyone on the OAC board. Typical NCAC Post.

Congratulations Wabash on a great season. It would have been a good game in IN next week if you had pulled this one out.

I have to say that the Wabash D was one of the toughest D's I've seen all year.  Bash is a great team who played a tough game, and when it came down to it, the ball bounced our way.  Great game, great season.

The equiptment manager is the one and only Tom Perkins.  I figured I would give his name.  You are right besides the team and coach's.  People forget all the others that it takes to make the game come off smoothly.

I would like to also like to congratulate all the Li'L Giants.  What a great season.  Theotherpurple said it best.  The ball bounced Capitals way.  As always.

I think Smed pretty clearly limited his rip to a small group of posters. A group which you are not a part, in my book.

WallyFS4:

Thanks for the info. Huzzah to Tom Perkins as well.

It's a simple equation: some is not equal to all. Remember, I keep the broad brush at arms length.

I could say that's a typical Mt. Union post, but I am refraining from such nonsense.

Congrats Wabash, you had a heck of a season including the Monon bell being back in your safe guarding until next season! Got plenty to be proud of with a terrific team, congrats! I'm not one to dispute your seeding, you earned it and you deserved it by your play, and after next week its very questionable whether any #1 seed will be left! Congrats again on a fine season, hope to see you in the playoffs again next season!

smedindy

Thanks mtfan - I think we can defend our title even with the losses we took, though it will be tough.

Smeds,

How many starters will Bash be losing this year?

smedindy

The biggest losses will be on defense, as well as Harbaugh.

I think either Huff or Neighbors can step in for Russ and do a good job.

Summers will be a big loss, but they have so many good receivers in the wings it won't matter much.

They lose Ogden, Roop and Piazza but there's depth at RB and J-Back.

They're losing two starters on the O-line and two others that started some games, but there's a lot of depth at O-line.

However, on D, they are losing Foster, White, Parker, and Selby (among others) and while there are good players in the wings it's going to be tough to live up to the standards of this D unit.
