We seriously need to do something about this fading in the 4th crap.

Thanks bb.....He has really worked hard.....

owu is not the worst team in the conference. that honor still falls on hiram.
that being said- the kenyon "d" thought the game ended after the 2nd quarter and took off for the library to pour over some middle ages literature. the "d" needs to learn there are 2 halves in a football game and no one should ever give up 30+ points and almost 400 yards to the hiram offense.

Wabash has completely shiat in their pants in this half. Gheny gets some big big 4th down conversions and scores again. This time it was Tarquinio.

Wabash needs a hockey team. they only play 3 periods.

And the Wabash offense goes nowhere again. This cannot be the same group of guys from the first half.

At some point, you have to believe that the Wabash coaches are being out coached at halftime (hate to say it) but this 2nd half BS shouldn't be happening.

Something is wrong.  It could be loss of intensity when a younger less experienced team has a lead.  But the coaches have to figure this out.

What the hell just happened? Why is this not a TD?

Well, we got a TD one way or another. Huff to Russell.

That should  seal the deal. Missed PAT makes it a 2 TD lead.

What a day Russell is having. 3 TDs out of 5 catches.

What a day Vite is having for the Gators. He has 3 TDs too.

Sorry to lose you Bashbro.

Gheny was driving but Savage was picked in the end zone. Wabash needs to get a first down here to seal the deal.

They get the first down from B.K. and take a knee to end the game.

I'm ready for a cigarette for the first time in about 7 years.

Phew!

I don't mean to take any credit away from a spirited effort by the Gators in the second half.  They must have made some great adjustments at half.

This Wabash team has problems making adjustments on the fly and will loose big games in the second half if they don't figure this out.

You don't go up 35-7 and have to score again to put it away.

The Patron bottle will be put in the recycling bin by the end of the night after this one.

That is the problem. At halftime we all thought that this was a great win and sent a message to the rest of the NCAC.

By the end of the game it was what has happened in every game except the Earlham game.

It's infuriating. I'm with you, BB, only it's the Maker's Mark that is going to suffer.

The refs were pretty bad. Missed calls both ways. Bad spots. No signals. And the worst part...believe it or not...they lost a down for Allegheny. On a series near the end there were offsetting PFs on a 1st and 15, and the ref lost track and saw that the down marker had already changed to 2nd, so he said "It's 3rd down right there".

Smed - Can you share what actually happened on the Knez int and what everyone thought was a TD?
