You guys are killing me with all of the U of Oregon bashing.  As a native Oregonian, I've got stick up for the Ducks a little bit here...I mean seriously, who hasn't ever wondered what it would look like to throw some diamond plate patterns on your football unis?   :D

And the Big-10 is not free from heinous unis...Northwestern at home is painful to watch.  Minnesota has a pretty hideous color scheme going.  And the gold home unis that Purdue tried to pull off a couple of years ago were downright scary.

Anything would be an improvement over the blood clot unis that channel the 1976 Cleveland Indians.

Anyone catch Cuba's unis during the World Baseball Classic? They were all red as well.

I don't like "all" of any color in football, except for maybe black and white.  Penn State in white and the Scots in black are fine, but anybody in all red, blue, or whatever is over the top.  Heck, isn't that why schools have two colors? ;)

Funny, though, in baseball I prefer all of one color, but it had better be white or gray, with just some kind of trim.  Guess I'm a traditionalist, but I like the home whites and road grays to pants of one color and a jersey of another.  Colored jerseys are too softballish.  And show those socks and stirrups, ala the Frank Robinson of old! :)

Oh man, those were B-A-D.  They need to be doing the WBC every other year.  That tournament was awesome.

I believe 4 seconds.  My buddy and I were watching the live stats and about fell out of our chairs - we thought it was a misprint.

Regarding playoff projections:  I am almost certain if either Witt or Bash win out (along with Kenyon) - Witt would go due to strength of schedule.  For Kenyon to go, they would need to win it outright.  Apparently, the NCAC set that when the schedules rolled out the way they did.

Anyone else get the link for the article on Shafer's injury...?

thanks Bash +K.

Heres hoping for your Wooster boys to go undefeated the rest of the season.  Who knows whos getting in with 1 win!

Problem with the E8 is after this weekend we can have a possible 3 way tie for first place if the 2nd place team beats the first place team.  With all three teams having 1 loss.

Here's an article from Monday's edition of the Wooster fishwrap:

Nothing too revealing there.  I think you'd have to guess that Schafer is going to be a gametime decision.  If he does go, you wouldn't imagine he'll be 100%...probably closer to the statuesque Schafer we saw at the Papp last season.

Being a medical type.......my crystal ball says it is highly unlikely that Schafer will play and that decision will not boil down to game time.

If he doesn't play, just another reason to believe that Wabash wins.

Well, this is a little disconcerting - although not at all that surprising - that medicine in this locale is still practiced using crystal balls.  Do you still use a stand-alone version, or do you have that new model that's networked to CBHQ in Transylvania?  ;)

I guess it depends on how severe the injury is, of which I've not read anything that says more than Schafer was hobbled enough that he couldn't go for that last series.  Last year he played on an ankle that he could barely walk on (one of the more gutsy games I've seen anybody play really)...I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt given the current lack of info as to the degree of his injury.

Rumor has it that Scotlass picked up her crystal ball at Wal-Mart  while shopping for ingredients to make her world famous Haggis  ;D

I hope your malpractice carrier knows you're using a crystal ball.
