I guess it depends on how severe the injury is, of which I've not read anything that says more than Schafer was hobbled enough that he couldn't go for that last series.  Last year he played on an ankle that he could barely walk on (one of the more gutsy games I've seen anybody play really)...I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt given the current lack of info as to the degree of his injury.

I'm not sure we'll know the extent of the injury before the game starts.  It has never really been the practice of sharing that sort of information.  I would have to say that a hobbled Schafer is not going to beat Wabash.  No Way!!!

GO TIGERS!!!

I've never paid $1200 for a crystal ball. An MRI, yes. I don't think workers' comp covers crystal balls.

The last time I checked my medical insurance wouldn't cover crystal balls, My provider considered them a cosmetic elective surgery.. ;D
So if you think about it... We have to kill these animals or else they will die...... Guess that makes us environmentalists

Crystal ball aside,

Schafer was hurting well before his final play.....indicating to me an initial injury, followed by more irritation to the area on subsequent plays......the groin injury has already been reported as "severe" in one article. Make of that what you will...I must go stir my cauldron.... :D

No doubt. Is there a minor groin injury? *shudder*.

Low expectations? I'm used to that. That's not an insult.

chilly, chilly, chilly

I have baked several pies and they are in the freezer.....I have also roofed the house.....rotated my tires, changed the oil......saved a couple of lives.....and am now in the kitchen with printouts of Woo and Bash cumulative stats, NCAA stats through 10/21, schedules and results on both teams....so I can intelligently converse with you noodle heads! 8)......of course I clearly wouldn't have to do much to handle that....except of course with dear MacLeod......I do ponder his dissertations for a while.

How can you say that Wooster has not faced an offense like Wabash?  Last week's national rankings had Allegheny at #8 in the country in total offense and Wabash at #11?  Sounds comparable to me.

Saturday - Crawfordsville, time will tell.......One of Crawfordsville own could be a BIG KEY to game, can Watson put pressure on the QB.................. I saw he will!!!

ive known and played with/against watson for a long time (cville hs and wabash) and i think he will pose a very big problem for the o line of wabash, but i also played with both of the tackles at wabash and i know how good they are.....so i think that the battle on the edge of the line will be a great one.  evan always keeps his motor running, that is why he has the success that he has had.
good luck to all and WAF
