Another great WIN for the LG in tough conditions.....

Schwami

Impressive the way Bash came out aggressive in the second half.  Gutsy fourth down call deep in Bash territory early.  Huge defensive stop after the pick.  Long drive for a TD against the wind.  Stayed aggressive down the stretch.

firstdown

Great D today. Bash played its normal second half fade in the first half today.  The results are better.

Why are the announcers worried about Kenyon?  They need to review the tiebreaker rules posted here yesterday.  What we need is a Gheny win over Witt.

They have Kenyon on the brain. They just said Denison was in Gambier.  ::)

They also gave out the wrong tiebreak at the beginning. THey said it was the Big Ten rule.

Lil Giant..... Thanks for the work as always.... I think the key to the game was me going and getting my hair chopped at halftime.......  ???

The fact of the matter is that Wabash was shocked early in the first quarter and did not recover until they had a nice talking to at halftime.  Scoring into the wind in the 3rd Qtr was huge.   Acutally they drove it well twice in the 3rd.   The coaches made some great adjustments at halftime and the team responded.

Very nice win.  Nice job to Wooster they fought hard today.

Anytime. I enjoy it. It's the former Bachelor journalist in me trying to escape.  ;)

Both of those drives were absolutely massive. Though, if the Scots had scored after that INT we have a much different ballgame.

Seriously, they did everything they needed to do to put themselves in a position to win this game. Getting the lead and playing defense the way they did right up to that 3rd quarter INT, they really couldn't have asked for much more. They played a really good game today.

Back from the Hollett...

Amazing, amazing effort from the Little Giants today.  After the first quarter blitzkreig to come back and dominate the game the way they did is just awesome.  The Hard Hats are back people!

The key play in the game, from my point of view, was a third quarter deep post pass to Mike Russell.  The pass fell incomplete, but was important in that it demonstrated for the first time in this game (and really for the first time in the last few games that Wabash has played in strong wind) that Wabash was going to try and stretch the field.  As soon as that pass was thrown, everything seemed to open up for the Wabash offense...CC ran the offense the way it is supposed to be run, wind be damned.  It was a bold move, but the right one.  If we were going to go down, we better go down playing Wabash football...and Wabash football prevailed.

Couldn't agree more about Rode.  He's the next big name in Wabash receiving. The kid has been nothing but clutch since getting on the field on Saturdays.

Give today's game ball to Huff...I know he had the two picks (which were not good balls at all), but Huff made so many huge plays today.  Wabash couldn't have won this game with anybody else under center.

And the defense...just awesome.

Great college football game today.  Go Gators.

And Kenyon's site confirms it.  Denison wins 41-35 in 2OT.

Also, Witt wins 22-6.  Not pretty, but we'll take it.  Congrats to Tristan Murray, who broke the school record for consecutive 100-yard games.
