Sure would like to hear from some Gheny posters again.  They have a solid team this year.

Since the "swamp" is now in C'ville, I'm a BIG Gator fan this week!  ;)

Hope that makes some sense.  :P
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash

wally, I agree your being very ncondescending when you post. lets be honest, you dont need to prove you know everything there is to know about football... we believe you ;D but posts like this just make you look like an a-hole

I realize they weren't running around tackling one another....however in the game when they were on the same field on the same day, Adi had the better day and Adi's team won the game which is something that is often used to separate individuals for awards like these when the stats are so close.

That's the point I was making....and it pains me that I had to explain that.

I relize they were not tackling each other. Obviously.  but Adi had the better day... agaisnt a far inferior offense.. and watson had a very respectable day, against a very good offense.  yes, ADI won, but not becasue he is the god of football, they won because that defense bottled up the # 6( or close) offense in the league, while wooster's defense played well  and held the top offense far below its averages.

I know you will have a real Wise remark about how one of my states is flawed and all wabash players are gods, but all im asking is try to take off the red blinder and look at the conference from a neutral point, we can all read your name and know u love wabash. great, I think wabash is a real respectable place, but some of the condescending remarks to posters from other schools are what stopping this board from becoming the NCAC board, and not the wabash board

Just my 3... 4 cents

And here all along I thought it was NCAC Hoops Media Day...turns out it is actually Pile on Wally Day.  Go figure.   ::)

Ryder, you made it a point to tell me that Watson and Pynenberg both play defense and that they weren't really playing head-to-head, thus forcing an explanation of what I meant by their "head-to-head" matchup.  If you took that explanation as condescending, you need a thicker skin OR you needed to realize that:

1) I in fact do know what positions Pynenberg and Watson play,
2) I've seen enough football to know that they probably weren't literally playing head-to-head, and
3) given points 1 and 2, not have made the point to talk down to me in the first place.

Sometimes you get what you give (and yes I realize that's what some of this is about with respect to you all piling on me as well...fair enough).

No need for the name calling, either.

And Adi is obviously not the god of football...I believe the rules say that a player can't be deified until their eligibility runs out.   ;)

So you are saying OWU is a much better team than Witt because they beat Witt - right?

Or perhaps Witt had a bad day, OWU had a good day, many scenarios.  But if I go by what you say then OWU is a much better team than Witt.

I stand by what I said, Bash is a much better team, Witt lucked out against Bash and Woo, they both did not have a good day and the officiating favored Witt.

What you said does not make sense, anybody can beat anybody, - I don't think Denison is better than Kenyon but they beat them last week.

That eligibility requirement certainly wasn't enforced against Tony Sutton or Jake Knott.

That's the beauty of the NCAC.....most anybody CAN beat anybody on any given day.....that's what muddies the waters at the top and makes even a team that's not in the running that year an important game, because spoilers abound. It makes for more interest........and you never know whose Pile on Day it will be.... ;)

ScotLass,

Does this include post-op treatment consisting of several drams, some well-placed sheep tallow, and a plaid, er I mean tartan, donut?

This is flattering, but in all seriousness I don't have that much influence over the totality of the NCAC football fan base.

The following quote identifies your problem...it isn't me.

As far was bash dominating the board, you can't blame the bash posters.  Blame the the posters of their respective schools for not posting.
