FINAL

Depauw to Hell ...We keep the Bell.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Congratulations Little Giants!!!

Yes, the field looked like a mud pit, but watching it in high-def was pretty cool.

Why exactly was Huff passing with a minute to go?

Good game all around - offense and defense.  How huge was that safety?

Tryin' to cover Wally's spread, of course! ;)

Depauw to Hell! We have the Bell! What a great game. Congrats to the seniors on 3 of 4 Bell wins.

Oh, the field looked like ass. Bring on the field turf.

Congratulations to Wittenberg - good luck in the playoffs!  Represent us well!

Congratulations to Wabash - NCAC co-champions and Monon Bell victors.  Ring the Bell loud and proud!

Congratulations to all the teams in the conference for an exciting, competitive season.
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash

Haven't seen any reports on Woo @ Kenyon or Denison @ Earlham - anyone have news?

Thanks, cwru,

I had to go out for awhile, and both were on the scoreboard by the time I returned.

Because he can.  It's a shame we couldn't score one more time and make the score somewhat embarassing.

MSJ lost today which could make Concordia the #2 in the region which very reasonably could set up a Witt/Concordia matchup in the first round.  Word on the street is that Concordia's facilities aren't up to NCAA playoff standards which means Witt could conceivably host such a game.

The golden horseshoe has been up Witt's hind end all year so far....why stop now?

As a somewhat casual obersver...I get a bit embarrassed by SOME of the Wabash  posters. ..are you all really that insecure? And after watching most of the game on tv today...perhaps some of the blow hards who spend time here could lend some volunteer time to fix the cow pasture you call a football field into respectibility. Stony Brook Middle School wouldn't play on the crap conditions that existed today. Obvioulsy that didn't have anything to do with the outome...but how about a little pride....or at least take on SOME responsibility.

Also---anyone else who has been through the recruiting process with Creighton wonder if his pitch is wearing a bit thin? And how truthful the guy REALLY is????? Have heard and seen some things that make me wonder?????

don't want to beat a dead horse...but i have some issues with coach creighton...and more than one or two h.s coaches will back me up...good to great---everybody patting on each other on the back---whatever...

I don't think any of us is happy about the condition of the field. What were we supposed to do?

If you'd care to elaborate I'd be all ears. But I'm guessing that won't happen. My bet is you'll just sit back and lob innuendo.

Clearly you do.

Cap was #3 and CUW #4 last week in the region.  Any reason you think CUW would jump over Cap?  My question is how far MSJ will drop from #2 (I'm thinking #5, behind Wheaton)?  That would logically set up Hope @ MUC, Witt @ Cap, NCC @ CUW (which might actually be at NCC, due to pressbox deficiency at CUW), and MSJ @ Wheaton - though 'logically' and 'NCAA' should generally not be used in the same sentence!
