Kolisek might also be a nice addition down at Mud Hollow.
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

BashBro - Peterman will be a beast, did you forget he is back?  Bubba is back and getting after it.  He recently added a pretty cool blog about heading up the community service work they have been doing.

Frank U - seriously, an assistant coach comments that "recruiting is going well and it should be a good class" (to an alum when asked) and that is "inflating expectations?"  I don't see any big deal with that nor do I think the coach was tooting his horn.

INQBscout - CC ensures his class is on the downlow (each year) so its tough to talk specifics.  They've done well in Northern Indiana, have landed some good ones from Chicago-area, done well in Indy, and have some big ones still pending that should hopefully be wrapped up soon.  QB's, TE/DE's, and LB's seem to be strong at this point.  There is also a good kicker that hit a 52 yarder in high school.  If I see press clippings I will post them.

Thanks, BashBacker...I'm not familiar with the kid from North Montgomery so I was looking for stats, intel...thanks!

Thanks BB16 - Global warming has taken a toll on my memory.

Bashbro - Peterman has bulked up to around 190.  He may have been 160 when he was a Frosh.

I saw the new sod this weekend and it looks good.  Hope it takes like it should.

Ran in to Huff too, they had a good Spring - how about this WR crew he'll have:  Guererro, Russell, Rode, Green, Banach...

Signed.  Bengals and Browns had both been to Wooster and he had been to Cincy last week for a physical and meet the team and then today the Browns signed him.

Pat Coleman

OK. We'll have to wait for a release but we'll add him to the list when one party or the other confirms.

Great news for the Scots, Drushal a Brown! Rick was a major player for the Scots and an important factor to the success achieved by the class of 07. The 07 class had a great run, tying the most wins by any class. But it was a combination of classes that has the Scots wearing a championship ring. The conference championship won by Woo in 04 was a combination of talent with the class of 05 as the backbone and the class of 07 supplying the missing pieces. That group combined to create the most memorable season that the Scots have had in a long time. Neither the class of 05 or the class of 07, both very strong, were able to achieve championship level football on their own. That 04 season, crowned by the gutsy win at Ohio Weslyan will go down as one of the greatest in Woo history.

Earlham's Justin Rummell has been invited to passing camp for a tryout with the Lions, according to this morning's Detroit Free Press.  Would seem a very long shot, but at least he's getting the opportunity to try.

The Lions ... yuk!

Justin deserves better.

Only Detroit deserves the Lions.

Did I read correctly that Neal Neathery of Wabash won a D-III award for assistant coach of the year in 2006?

How are things for that staff up at Wabash?  How is their D and overall team looking for 2007?

I remember lots of rumbling (by some Bash alums) when Creighton and Neathery were initially hired out of Ottawa, KS about NAIA coaches and guys who might not be long-timers at Wabash.  Hopefully most see by now that Wabash got a good deal when they made that hire.

My two cents anyway.  Not meaning to ruffle any feathers.
