Nice infromation. How's the QB spot shaping up? Will any of the new guys contend for PT?

Thanks for the info on Witt's recruiting class.  Anyone watch the video on the Springfield Sun News site?  Do you think Fincham could have cleaned his office prior to the interview...hilarious.  It looks like the office my 5th grade PE teacher held above the old gym (Est 1948) at New Market Elementary - I especially like the impressive window AC unit in the background with the plywood mounting.  Classic.

More turnover on the coaching staff too, that cannot help no matter how you spin it.

Lindy's D3 Pre-Season preview is out...Wabash is ranked #16 with ILB Pynenberg named 1st Team Pre-season All American and WR Mike Russell 2nd team.

BB16,
Wow!!! Thanks for the heads up on the video, that was Great fun! So Witt has big numbers but how is the talnet inside the #'s? I see they got Ben Maxwell he was a very good player out of Alter. Did anyone else stick out to you guys?

Pleasant "problem" there.

Going to be different this year the day of the Witt/Alma game (not having T Murray or Alma QB Josh Brehm in uniform--Brehm also graduated.)

We have seen Wabash and Witt's classes but what's going on at Wooster, OWU, gheny, and the rest of the NCAC?  I heard that Wolfe is Kicking-Butt at Hiram (and Im not joking) and they Have players coming from all over! Who is the best incoming player for each team? Who is the best incoming player into the NCAC? What Transfers are coming into the NCAC? Heard Wooster got a Stud WR from Kent St.  What's his name?

Interesting the rumors surrounding Hiram...I think somebody posted in here a while ago about Hiram's recruiting efforts in the more citrus-y areas of the nation.  This shouldn't be all too surprising...as football rich as the Ohio Valley is, it is also saturated with institutions at all levels that offer football to those who want to continue playing after high school.  I rather like the idea of Hiram broadening their recruiting efforts to other parts of the country and I hope it works out well for them.  It can't hurt them anyway, right?

Don't know if anyone would have seen/read it so I wanted to post it...

There's a story linked on the d3football homepage about a Muskingum asst. coach passing away in an automobile accident.  His name was Joe Torrens and he was a graduate of Wittenberg '05.

Thoughts and prayers to the Witt family.

One-time Wittenberg stand-out player Tristan Murray is on an indoor team (the Miami Valley Silverbacks)that clinched a playoff spot in its' respective league.

With the CIFL's Miami Valley Silverbacks having clinched a spot in that league's playoffs (given that one time Wittenberg standout player Tristan Murray is on that squad) will you be following Miami Valley for the playoffs?

Columbus has a new tv sports channel which delayed broadcast some OWU baseball and lax games.  Hopefully that will continue in the fall season.  Although I see they have added some of the ubiquitous poker shows to the schedule.

Do you know if Murray is playing late in the season?  I'm actually disappointed in his stats (up to the date the CIFL site has reported: May 25).  He's got -1 yards of total offense on the season to that point.  He's not having the impact I thought he would have as a great DIII back.

Judging from the Silverbacks' releases on the more recent games, the other RB's have been contributing more offensively of late. Haven't been catching any recent Miami Valley feeds though, so I can't speak for Tristan's recent playing time at this point.
