Pointing out someone's stats is "bringing up a good kid in a negative way"? He didn't write some savage hatchet job in the C-Ville newspaper before the game like that broad in Oklahoma. He pointed out his stats. An important stat for an RB. That's hardly throwing someone under the bus.

CLICK HERE and you'll know as much about CP Porter as I do.

You must admit...no one can justify an argument with a Wabash poster. Just can't do it. Good luck to CP Porter in the future.

What exactly is your argument?  I'm simply said that running back A isn't playing very well and running back B, in admittedly limited time, shows a little bit of promise.  Why not give running back B a shot?  I've left names out here as to avoid any unintentional perceptions of personal attacks because I can assure you that I have nothing personal against RB A or RB B or any other RB on the planet (except for maybe Clarrett...and O.J.).  I only want what's best for the team I root for and RB seems like a logical place to experiment a little bit.

Hello fellow NCAC board posters. I have bad news as I return from the Woo-Witt debacle... It is my sad duty to report that as I was leaving the game, our very own ScotLass was being led off in a straight jacket mumbling, murmuring, screaming..."fullback ,where's the fullback" "what do they do at practice knit sweaters for the homeless?" "coach Schmitz you said you would change your offensive ways, you said you would CHANGE!!" ;D ;D ;D

chilly,

If I was being led off in a straight jacket anyway, I'd have used a lot more colorful language  :P

Just got to defend a Penn kid from a program that might be an asset for Wabash. Still waiting for CP Porter's resume from high school. Btw, why no name...CP, JR, AO...just curious.

Did the Scots roll over? I sense issues. Your thoughts.

Rolled over? Nope, in order to roll over you'd have to be alive. Woo was dead right from the 1st play. No offense, no defense.......and I could have thrown plays in on paper airplanes and done better. I kid you not, Hiram has the best chance in years to win.

Defending him from what??  Nobody is attacking him.  What's your deal?

Just curious on CP Porter, potential Mr Indiana Football. Anyone that can run for 250 yards against Warren University must be a PT player or playa. Andy Auter might lose some recruiting "points" for Penn.

Gee. Now who is attacking whom?

Hey Scotty,
It's like AJ Hawk.
Get it?
By the way, Wabash has five players on their roster who go by two letters for their first name and then the last name.  If Porter adds another dimension to their team, then great.  And he is just a freshman. Think maybe Wooster could use him?

Just want the resume on the "heir apparent" to the Wabash "running back throne"...especially since CP ran for 250 yards against Warren University. Evan wasn't much of a factor for Penn...we tend to spread it around. Maybe Laporte and Elkhart Central could comment.

Alright....it all makes sense now.  Sobecki went to "your" school (or your kid's school or whatever) and you're obligated to defend him against any perceived slight, real or not.  That's cool, but there's clearly no way you can be objective here.  We'll go ahead and move on now.

High school is quite a bit different from college. Past results do not guarantee future gains. I think all Wabash posters on this board like Sobecki, were intrigued by him getting the ball a lot this year, but have been disappointed thus far. However, that may be due to the line having some teething pains in meshing with some new faces, and the offense where the pass is paramount.

Yeesh - it's not like Porter piled up yards against Turkey Run and North Central of Farmersburg. Although, I've seen big school kids not do well in D-3, and kids from Podunkville excel. Again, it's all about how a kid adjusts to the next level.

Oh please. Penn football is similar to most D3 programs. Still waiting for the awesome resume of CP aka Charles Patrick, Chase Phillip, Carl Paul...love the "pass is paramount" comment...a classic
