When did Allegheny get field turf?  Went up there 3 years ago and it was the mud bowl everyone keeps talking about, obviously with no turf.  Also Wabash people, how is Huff doing?

Allegheny's Fuhrer Field project, with FieldTurf installation and new track, was completed last fall.

Huff was on the sidelines Saturday, but by all accounts he was struggling with his emotions. That's perfectly natural. He wants to be out there leading the team and he can't right now. I heard Denison or DePauw, but the question is then if Wabash is 8-0 or 9-0 and Hudson and Augie are doing well - do they change back to Huff??

But that's WAYYYYY in the future. Let's beat 'Gheny.

BTW - How are the hot dogs at Frank B. (I wish it was N.) Fuhrer field?

Since beating Michigan, Appalachian State has seen an increase of web-site visits of their schools home page from 10,000 visit's per day...to 45,000 per day. I remember reading what the residual effect that winning has done for MUC. Facility upgrades on campus, enrollment, let alone all the trickle-down exposure for academic & athletic programs. All NCAC schools have fine reputations....something that a championship football team could only do, but enhance that image. Just Win Baby....

I'd venture that an NCAC team beating Mount Union in Alliance in the playoffs would be a bigger upset relative to the loss Michigan took from Appalachian State.

The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that: Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right; greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms, greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge — has marked the upward surge of mankind and greed, you mark my words — will not only save the NCAC  but those other malfunctioning conferences that can't beat Mount Union.

Good luck to Wabash. Good luck Evan. Good luck CP.

Anybody else having trouble getting onto the Allegheny website? I work on Saturdays and can't listen to audio, so livestats is my only option to follow the game.  :(

The livestats feature on the Gheny website has not worked all season.   I wouldn't expect livestats tomorrow.
