See....that's the problem with karma......most people hide and smite instead of having the..........balloons.......to identify themselves. It's too easy to hide and be a bully... 8)

Smed actually takes more negative karma on this board than anyone else, I believe.

No one expected Hudson to have this season, but to be honest, Augie probably has the talent to have done the same thing, or close to it. Creighton knows how to recruit QBs, and he knows what kind of QBs to recruit.

I can't disagree with this.  After watching Augie at Millikin, I was sold that he was the guy.  He was as crisp and clean as a first time starter could have been.  He had some hiccups in the OWU game and got the hook...and if Hudson had had any similar hiccups in the next game or two after he took over, Augie probably would have been right back under center.

I think it is really a testament to how good Wabash's entire team is that they've been able to scale the offense way back while bringing a new qb along and still win.  That stretch of @OWU, Earlham, @Allegheny, Witt is about as tough a stretch as Wabash has ever played in the NCAC.  Now the offense is opening up, the qb is playing like a seasoned veteran, and I think there's still a lot of room for this group to improve between now and 11/10.

I think the Gheny game was a perfect warm-up for Witt.  Our offense grew up during that game.   We finally ran the ball on a good defense as I think our O-line (which had somewhat been thrown together due to injury) found itself.
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Seriously, I think Allegheny was a good warm up to the Woo/Bash game. Woo played better throughout the entire game then they have all season, dumb things lost that game. It's going to be tough but I don't think they are going to roll over and die on Saturday. That said, there is plenty of work to do this week during practice. The O-line is going to have to step up every play, not just part of the game. The D-line must get some pressure on Hudson....and the whole team has to stay in it till the end and not give up if they are down a few points.

At the  risk of karma attack ... which I do not care about ... Wabash is going to wax Woo next Sat.  It is an away game and we cannot bring enough players to make it a somewhat happy event.  The coaches will not run the score.  However, 2- string gettikng in cannot be asked to not  do their best.

The good LG news is that it is a chance to get well.  Wes Anderson will be back from the injury caused by the unsportsman hit of McKinley.  Othrs should also progress to health.  Wabash will win and wax Woo ... but with respect.

ScotLass

I don't do the karma thing for opinions....everybodies got one. I also didn't say Woo would win.....I said I expect them to play tough and not roll over and die.

I realize this is what used to be called a "bulletin board" back when we still connected with modems, but there's no need to give "bulletin board material".

Besides, as we've been discussing all day, karma is a b!0tch. Let's not bring it down on our side.

With a chance to clinch the AQ and a share of the NCAC championship, you can be sure that Wabash's collective head will be in the right place.  You won't find the LGs looking ahead to Denison like you may have seen Cap looking ahead to Mount Union.

I don't think anyone doubts that wally and I don't think your statement would bring on the same response as wabbco's. But, when anyone from any team comes on and basically says "we're gonna whip your butt"....well.....that does require a response. No matter how good my team had been up to Saturday's game, I'd never say that as I don't like to have to eat my words....no matter how remote the possibility. Strange things happen all the time. Even miracles every now and then... ;)

Not saying it will happen, just saying you never know. Wabash has everything to lose and Woo ......... well it would make their season.

On any given Saturday................
