Old conference foes meet again. Should be a great game. How far away is Wabash from Cincinnati?

From your side of town, Adam, probably about 142 miles

Since I have yet to recover from yesterday's debacle in Greendingle...I'm not sure I'm reading this right...MSJ at Wabash next week?
Anyone else shocked at the pairings and how they played out? I wonder if someone out east pissed someone off to have them transfer Mt. Union out there. After all guys, in the world of sports polls and playoff choices...it's not what you know...it's who you know that counts.

That's right, WAF78.  MSJ @ Wabash on Saturday.  I think playoff games have a noon kickoff.

Or...having looked at the brackets again...someone in the West must have friends on the selection committee...took Whitewater out so there is no clear favorite out west. Interesting stuff.

Well, the challenge has been made . . . this is the year we find out if there really is more to the North Region than just Mount Union.
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash

BashBro,

When are you going to load that highlight on Youtube?

Wabash hasn't lost a home game since the playoff loss to Capital (14-11) in 2005, correct?

Not a good year to be judging the North Region with Wheaton and Capital decimated with injuries.  Anytime Case is the #2, it's an easy region.

This just in....there ARE other teams in the North region other than MUC, OAC #2, and Wheaton.  There are good football teams here...there's nothing easy about it.

16 -   Tomorrow, I will get it up there.  It was awesome.  All the dude had to do is breathe the right way and it would have been 6.....Adi made sure he didn't.

I believe you are correct that would be their last loss at home.

MSJ is a good team and Wabash will have their hands full, what I worry about most is this Bash team shaking off yesterday and getting ready to play.

That loud noise you heard at about 11:45 EST was East region fans collectively throwing their remotes through the wall.

Thanks Wally, I was wondering what that noise was, thot i hit something with the mower!  ;D Good LUCk to the 'Bash!

Wally, I wouldn' t be so defensive about HSC's comment. I think the North is a much stronger region with a healthy Cap and Wheaton to go along w wabash and NCC. I think a region with

#2 wheaton
#3 Wabash
#4 Cap
#5 NCC

would be a better gauge of the strength of the North than the region we are putting up. It's no knock on wabash (I have seen the bash) but Case, MSJ, and a stricken Cap don't make for a strong region.

MSJ looks like a tough matchup for us to start the playoffs.

They are very balanced and like to run the ball which is definitely our weakness but they can pass it too.  Will be tough to stop with our defense playing like they have against tougher competition.

Secondly the strength of their defense is in the secondary.  They really take away the passing game.  When Franklin beat them, they beat them up on the ground.  Only had  140 yards through they air and well over 200 on the ground.  That does not bode well for us.  We have no running game to speak of.

I know we have alot of talent in the WR's and I will take them against anyone but if MSJ can do what Depauw did by controlling the ball and clock in offense and just limit our big plays they should have a good shot.

I hope Little Hollet is hoping this weekend.  Will take a lot to overcome the Bell game loss both with the players and the fans.  I have confidence though that Creighton and company can get it done.

Go Wabash.  Wabash Always Fights!!!
