That momentum that he is referring to lasted about 14 seconds after NCC pulled to within 3 points with 9:38 left on the clock in the 3rd.  Hawks answered back with that 70 yard TD pass on first and ten with the clock at 9:24 putting the spread back to 10 points.   Don't get me wrong, it was a scary 14 seconds.  ;)

BB16 - they would suit up in a minute and be ready to go as I as sure that you would as well.
It was fun this fall getting to see 54 and 19 playing together again albeit in flag football.  A little reprise of the glory days.

Even Capital held Whitewater down for quite a while 20-16, but as we saw in both games, the dam then broke and the score got out of hand.

The underdog always needs to gain confidence early in a game to become dangerous.
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

BB16 - 91 also returned to the field this fall in a friendly game of 8 on 8 touch with the seniors.  I am told that 91 used one of patented moves, shot through the gap and sacked the quarterback.   Old habits die hard.

Just finished looking at pics of "the Perk" on the Warhawk football website.  Looks like a great facility and.... it  has seating on the Visitors side of the field!  Best of all, they were kind enough to put a "W" in the middle of the field - too bad it is purple.

WH, from your point of view on the visitors side, it will look like a big, purple M.  However, there's also a big, purple W behind the north endzone!

Well..... it is official....... Just dropped the coin on airfare.  Bashbro, #3 & Mr. B, are on our way to Whitewater.

Everyone will not have any trouble picking me out of the crowd.  I'll be the guy from Florida that has one thin sweater to his name.  Does Janesville have a Goodwill?  ;D

Can't wait.

I am going to follow my strict cold weather diet for warmth.  Here is the warmth chart to follow:

1 Beer = Turtle neck

5 Beers = Turtle neck, wind breaker and thin gloves

5 Beers and a Shot of Jack = Turtle neck, coat, Thick gloves, Wool sweater

Bottle of Jack  ;) =  REI Mt. Everest Parka, Insulated Sorels, Titanium Dina-Hide Gloves

;D

Nice theory, but bottle of Jack + Wisconsin in December = death by hypothermia! :o

Now, decent coat, gloves, etc. + bottle of Jack = good times, even in Wisconsin in December. ;D

When and where does the tailgate start on Sat.  Is there a specific area?  Coming back from Fla to be there.  The LGs will bring everything they have.  The least we can do is be there in goodly and enthusiastic numbers.  Besides ... I expect to witness a Wabash win.  GO WABASH !!!

ScheckDiesel

UWW fan hear, just looking up some information on Wabash, what should I be looking forward to on Saturday, personnel and offense wise???

Looking to be cold and windy at the Perk, can't wait....

BashDad

Pops woulda loved this. How many wabash folk are we expecting? A grand? More?

Tailgating! Finally!

smedindy

On offense, Wabash will throw to about 192 different receivers (so it seems), and they will alternate backs (or will like to). They will take what the defense gives them in the passing game. They'll be content to nickel and dime you to death, but can throw the deep ball if it's there.

The strength of the defense is the front seven.

Should be a great game.
Wabash Always Fights!

I'll be glued to the UWW webcast of the game....this is huge....you guys are going to have a Blast!

I just received a letter that said there will be a main tailgate in the parking lot that is south of the stadium, closest to the field. I don't know what time it will start but from what the letter says...you won't be able to miss it. The game starts at 12 central time...so...I'm think at least by 10....maybe 9:30. I'm not sure what time the parking lots open at UWW. Can any of the Whitewater posters help with that?
