Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Dayton HC Mike Kelly has ended his 27 yr run.....Now the Flyers will be in the hunt for a leader. I met Kelly many years ago and was impressed...he had an outstanding record. Some "flux" in the Pioneer League. I can't remember a time when so many are looking for coaches.

any bets on who will be the first on post patterns to break the news of the new wabash HC? I have money on Wally Wabash to scoop the board.

The real question is: what's up with the new color scheme? It reminds me of Windows 3.1.

Anyone remember this abomination?

I wish...my guess is that whoever sees the announcement on the Wabash web page and posts here first will "scoop the board".  Concrete info on this coaching search has been nigh-on impossible to come by as #16 alluded to earlier.

Think MacLeod has put in his application to bring the Wing T to Crawfordsville??? :D

Negatory.

Because I speak wing t doesn't mean that is my offense.  Remember, my high school coach was a Wabash man, and not sure we didn't run that same Wabash offense that produced your aforementioned 300 yards in a game rusher.

Maybe if our line had spoken wing t that power I would have been more effective.  Not that there werent some things learned from the way we ran it, but counter option would have been much more effective had we known 40 series terms and definitions.

Effectively my definitions for 30 and 80 series wing t translate to motion I.  The only thing for which the wing t doesnt act as a Rosetta Stone in my understanding is lead draw and interior ISO.  T is more ISV at those angles without being Middie.

On a serious note though, had a dream as to the new Wabash head man the other night.  There is an identity and would be willing to flesh it out if the banter draws.

Anyone know anything about the Desert View High School football player, Johnny Smith, who committed to the college earlier this week (saw it on Google news).

Looks like his high school already scrapped their roster for the 2007 season, so there is not much to know about him there.

6-0, 210 LB/DB from the Tuscon area...that's about as much as I can dredge up on Johnny Smith.  Glad to have him on board!
