OWU people, is Hymes playing this year or not?  Must not be, because the season overview has been rewritten on OWU's website to not mention him, as it did a couple weeks ago.  Either injury not fully recovered, or he did not want to be a backup his senior year, or a good job offer made him rethink situation.  Hope there are no regrets down the road.

DadofBashWarrior..

I am looking forward to the Wheaton scrimmage.

1. I get to watch Wheaton's Ittersagan again. Watching him last year was impressive as this young man is the real deal. His play and anticipation and speed to the ball is exceptional. Both teams I am sure are still working out the kinks but it will certainly be plenty of great football.

2. New talent showed up in the Red White and I hope to see some more of what is ahead for Wabash. Freshman Jonathan Horn showed some flash at WR last week. Tyler Burke ( #28 in the R/W)....although his numbers maybe weren't great (couple incompletes) he did show talent for the few minutes of time he got...

Tyler Burke ... another good Grand Rapids boy to go along with Brock Graham and Kam Blake.

Also, Josiah Roberts is a member of the GR contingent and Tony Neimeyer wishes he were (we adopted him over here).

Scrimmage?  I'm ready for September 13!  In that spirit - I thought this story would be appropriate for the Wabash faithful:

nike: Yikes!!! I'll try and get a word on the QB situation from Delaware....If it has gone south, it will remind me of the situation a couple of years ago. QB from Chagrin Falls (Oh) left after his Jr year and transfered to Allegheny. Steltzer was his name, I think. Hymes was (is) an outstanding Sr leader....Very critical season for the Bishops.

Sphinx Club should sponsor that veggie!

Last reminder for any NCAC folks that would like to participate in the OAC Pick-Em's.

Good luck and health to the NCAC teams.  Hopefully we see a couple OAC/NCAC contests in the playoffs.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Good Luck to all NCAC teams this grid season. Health & injury free and a year to remember for the players, coaches, staff, school, fans and D3.

Time to play ball.  Good luck to all NCAC teams tomorrow.

Does anyone know the status of the Hiram-Gallaudet game?  I know Washington DC was hit by heavy rain since early this morning.

The Qb situation at OWU is puzzling?   Where are the Qb's from last year?
