Why should you go for it on 4th down?

The real key to the game is making sure I get my usual breakfast tacos and coffee and wear my lucky jersey.  ;)

A nice mention of witt-week in the Daily Dose today. It's exciting to see the rivalry grow as it continues to do. Springfield hasn't been good to us since Knott and Co. started this whole thing, adding another worthwhile (though angst inducing) story-line to the game. I'd feel better about going up against inexperienced and young quarterbacks if one hadn't beaten us a couple years ago in the same stadium; granted they had a tailback strong enough to carry them and a 5th down towards the end of the game, but they always seem to find strength somewhere and this year should be no different.

Personally: i hope McKinley has half a tackle and takes a couple good licks resulting in his rage being built up to red, finally finding outlet in sobs and nonsensical outbursts as the last seconds tick away.

But that's just me.

16,
I got the photos from you're Father-in-Law. Very cool.

Go Bash!

It's been tough to concentrate at the job this week.  Witt week has that sort of effect.   :)

Looking forward to the trip...C-bus tonight and some high quality rivalry football tomorrow on what is shaping up to be a great fall afternoon in Ohio.  Go Bash!!!

BashDad...nice, you actually had time to post!  Hope NYC is good.  I laughed out loud on the McKinley mention.  How about this thought:  I'd like to see Brad McKinley fight Lance Phillips in the Octagon.  Does it seem like Phillips has been there somethiing like 7 years?

I had forgotten Brumfield beat us, hmmm.

MAJOR CLARIFICATION...my "father-in-law"  ;D  Seriously, how cool is the photo?  Should be on your wall the rest of your life.

...rolling in to Troy, OH tonight, Springfield in the morning...cannot wait.

16,

it was Huffman who was fortunate enough to throw picks for a strong enough team, not Brumfield.

Bro,

does your co. have a private jet yet? pick me up tonight?

I hope to see many of the Wabash faithful tomorrow in Springfield. Anyone going to the tailgate before the game?

Thought I would mosey on over and wish the Little Giants good luck tomorrow.  Your game with Witt has been selected as the bonus out-of conference game this week for the WIAC pick em's and I put my money on Wabash.  :)
My best to BB #16.  Hope all is well with you.

Maalox moments aside, post dinner, safe travels to everyone headed for Springfield (and elsewhere).  The Ruinator IPAs are chilled, and the computer fired up for the play by play.
