GAME OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice effort by Case.   They have improved.

Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Wow. First, great job by CWRU to come back and take the lead. That is a seriously tough team.

Second, THAT is always fighting. Great job by Wabash to pull get the win, on the road, against a really really good team. Wow. Just wow.

And with Wheaton winning, a home game! Awesome.

Way to go LGs! Wabash Always Fights!

Geese louise.... BB16, when I called you at 13 - 3, you were right...it was not over.

DK is rediculous.....  Whalen did all he could.

CWRU70 - Chin up, your team played a hell of a game.

Good win today, fellas.  I did think that Case would be a very tough test for the LG's and they were.

I'm not particularly surprised that Wheaton beat Trine, but I do think that the Thunder are very beatable.

If we continue this  RB rotation next week I think I might puke.

I agree Sobecki may need a break here and there but he needs to be on the field as much as possible and especially once we get in the red zone.  I don't care if it is Yoder's turn and he carried the ball all the way down the field.  Once in the red zone that needs to be Sobecki time.

Also Raeburn needs to be a little bit more creative over all.  We got way to predictable late in the game when we had the lead trying to salt it away and in the first half especially.

I was extremely happy with the Defense.  Seemed like we changed things up much more throughtout the game than we have done all year. We didn't just sit back in the cover 2 all day.  We blitzed, played press coverage, and dropped into zone.  I think that was key to not letting Whalen get into a rhytm until late in the game.

Thanks Wes.  You're good people.

Case Western fought hard to the last moment.  They played their hearts out and for the Seniors on that team, what a two year ride.  They have left this program in great shape.

Great win for Wabash....in the playoffs, a win is truly a win.

Onward and upward.

WAF!

Me too.  In the playoffs, you go with the players that give you the best chance to win. (No disrepect to Yoder, but if I have 1st and Goal at the 5, Sobecki is the horse.)

Can't believe that Calderone played all year w/ a blown ACL.  Tremendous effort.

Agree with the others - we need Sobecki to be taking the lion's share of the carries from here on out.

Looking forward to one more home game.

Let's Go Little Giants!

Congrats on the win.  I watched the second half.  I wish DePauw would get their games televised like that.

Anyway, CWR QB was tough.  Hudson has got to get his confidence back.  He was shaky.  Someone needs to show him earlier game tapes and not let him look at the DPU and CWR games again.  He made a couple clutch throws on that last drive though.  One other thing, the shotgun snaps have got to get fixed.  You don't realize how that little thing messes up the timing on routes and in the backfield on running plays.  It seems almost every time Hudson has to reach right or left, one handed, over his head for the ball.  I noticed the same thing last week.

Good luck next week against Wheaton.

Couldn't agree more Frip. Our center is one of the captains. Not sure why he can't get the snap back nice and crisp. It definitely throws the timing of the plays off.

One more step to Salem...Keep it going.........

Just back from Cleveland.  I was talking with Bayernfan at the game, we were calling for a triple reverse or a flea flicker on Case's goal line stand in the first half  ;), or at least one rush to the outside or even a pass to the tight end.  I could not believe that Sobecki was not in at that time.

Hudson had a couple of bad passes but a lot of really good ones.  He made a bad decision on the one pick, the play was not going to go for much anyway, the prudent thing would have been to just throw it out of bounds.

But the game itself was incredible.  Frigid cold.  3-0 at the half, then 6-3 after 3 quarters.  An offensive explosion with 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter, and 2 lead changes in the last 2 minutes.

Whalen was not as sharp as in last year's game, at least not in the first three quarters.  He got into a nice rhythm on the last two scoring drives, however.  Once again, Case played with a ton of heart.  Congrats to Case for a great season, and best wishes for continued success.

Not as many in attendance as at last year's game for either team.  Not much noise either until Wabash scored to take a 10 point lead, then the crowd finally came alive.  Cool that you could hear us on the audio  :)
Long shall we sing thy praises, Old Wabash
