Preseason scrimmage confirmed.....Muhlenberg vs Alfred, August 30 , 11 am...at Binghampton NY high

school field........half the distance between the 2 schools.......stra nge place for a reunion between

2 kids who have been playing together since elementary school , live a mile from each other, and

are  still good buddies, the pride of Phoenixville, Pa, Mule RB E. Snyder and Saxon DL J. Yesesky.

Only fitting the meet should be in the home/
birthplace of the creator of The Twilight Zone, Rod Serling........who was obviously inspired by the natives.

NCAA has featured a photo of the "new Mule" at Muhlenberg.

Mule Daddy:

You've given me a chance to recite one of my favorite jokes.

There is no "P" in Binghamton.

You have to hold it until you are outside the City limits.

Less than a month  until camp starts....and counting.....

Mates,

As we get closer, the excitement mounts.......Dickinson lineman bumps intoo Mule lineman at a gym near

Philly..says it was a fluke the Mules beat the Devils last year.....Ursinus player bumps into a Mule and says

they never would have lost if it wasn't for their now departed defensive coordinator......and the beeat goes on........time will tell...he who works the hardest, gets a few breaks, and has really good coaching
will climb the mountain......meanwhile,,, the Mule conference champ rings are simply incredible..
looks like a Super Bowl ring.....with smaller diamonds...individual names , numbers, and positions on 1 side,
10-0  First Undefeated Season on other side...Muhlenbeerg Mules on the face, with the Mule in color...

BTEXPRESS

It is getting closer!!! Three weeks from today, teams can officially begin practice. Muledady, I know you are started to get excited!

BT,

Its time for the countdown....just a matter of days......hooray!!!!!!!!!

BTEXPRESS

There are a lot of unknowns in the conference this year. Can the Mules stay on top? Can the Red Devils keep pace or did they lose too much to graduation?. Can Hopkins and Gettysburg climb to the upper tier of the conference?. Will there be improvement from the one win teams McDaniel and Juniatia?? Still not sure how the incoming Freshman will impact each program. On another note, it looks like Ursinus, F & M, and Juniatia are the only schools left with grass on their fields.

BTEXPRESS

Sorry, that is JUNIATA from HUNTINGDON, PA, don't want to get the Eagles fans fired up. I just can't type well anymore.

BT,

Mules frolic on the turf only this year...the grass teams all come to allentown for some Saturday afternoon grazing....turfs up....

BTEXPRESS

14 DAYS until the players report to camp!!!!

BT,

I think our 4th down conversion stats,  76 per cent for Mules and 18 per cent for opponents , speaks

volumes about the blocking ability of the center of our offensive line. together with the determination of our defense.

Mules must start from scratch, work hard at  camp, take nothing for granted, and they can successfully defend the conference title and earn a trip to the ditch for a rematch against  Wesley.......that is my wildest dream...........
