Hey Muledaddy, How do the Mules like  their new turf field? I know they were scrambling to finish the field before the first game. I really haven't heard any comments from you on how it is working out from the OLD CARPET.

muledaddy

  BT,
It is a great playing surface, the very best out there...NFL quality. It is not as fast for us as the old carpet, where we probably had a light home advantage based on the playing surface and our familiarity
with it. So far, so good, with fewer injuries, great drainage(the Hurricane game didn't even challenge the turf and drains when we played Wilkes on opening night). Our kids like it, as do their opponents. Overall,
it was a good move, but it sure produced a lot of angst about getting it done in time.
I would like to see how it plays this week, withe conference leading defense against the conference leading offense, and rain in the forecast for Saturday. This conference is getting more interesting by the
week, it truley being my belief that anyone can beat anyone on any given Saturday.D3 is addicting,
and the CC is quickly climbing in regional and national respect.I hope for a playoff on the new surface.

Old Ends-

Why are we picking games outside of the CC?

I'll Take Albright regardless.

BTEXPRESS

Looking at the extended weather forecast for Saturday, ik looks like most of the conference games will experience the WET STUFF again, although not the down pours like some of the games this season. How much does the weather effect football games or is it over rated? I know the weather played a huge part in McDaniel's win over Dickinson earlier this season.

greekgeek

BT, the rain isn't supposed to hit up in Allentown until late afternoon or early evening on saturday, so the Mules should be in great shape and so should the field.

GO MULES

BTEXPRESS

The new turf fields are the way to go, in the rainy weather, although the old school in me misses seeing the players coming off of the field covered with mud and chunks of grass hanging from their face masks. I bet the student managers who wash the uniforms love the new turf as well. HA HA

Since the conference has 9 teams, of which only 8 can play during the conference schedule. Just thought it would be nice if we had a extra pick from other conferences, which we could meet up with some where. It also make one look to other places to see how the teams I pick are doing.

Saturdays game F & M at Muhlenberg is going to be a good one. Just look at these stats

http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/2008/Internet/conf%20stats/2008000009683TD.HTML

some of these are close between the two.

See where your team ranks against the nation.
