Muledaddy, you are alienating the rest of the CC fans on this board.  I would love to root for the Mules to represent the CC deep into the play-offs, but you are making it hard.  I would also love to pray for your son to be able to play thru the end of the season, but you make that hard also.

You are close to riding your mule train alone.

BT,
If your comment was meant as a compliment, why would you put a derisive, mocking "ha-ha) at the end of it?

If you can explain that to me and the Board, I can be man enough to accept the error of my interpretation.Otherwise, you, my dear confused friend, are a sophmoric ignoramus. Nuff said....let's get real... let's get honest....Go CC...Go Mules

BTEXPRESS

My point was that a Devils Fan (ha ha) was saying something nice about your line. They are without question the best O line in the league. They are big ,strong and mean as a good line should be. What am I missing here, and why would you be the only one on this board to interpret my comments any other way???? Aren't you the same guy on came on here after seeing an exciting game between the Devils and the Mules who complained about the Refs and said Muhleberg was 20 ponts better than Dickinson? We want to root for your team in the playoffs as our conference representative. Your team is good and has a chance to go undefeated two years in a row. Any one who follows sports knows how hard that is to do. You have to have team chemistry, good coaching, good players, minimal injuries and yes some LUCK. You come off that the only team that matters is the MUles. My kid has been busting his butt since August as well. He has had to over come several injuries through out his career. Maybe you are a nice guy, but lately you appear to be a pompous jerk.

Yo BT,

My apolgy for the misinterpretation...I sincerely believed you were mocking my beloved Mules.

Let's go forward in peace and harmony and I do appreciate the recognition that the Mule O line is special this year.

Hounds

Muledaddy I accept your apology. If you have read any of my posts for the last year, you will never see me put down any player or team. I try to remain as even keeled as possible.  I enjoy some banter between fans once in a while, but you were getting personal and attacking the fine young men who are "Wearin' The Red" as Coach Breaux likes to say. We are on this board because we enjoy CC football. Some have kids who currently play, some are former players and some like Old Ends just enjoy Division III for what it is, athletes playing the sport for the love of the game. I took a friend of mine to see a Dickinson vs Gettysburg game a few weeks ago. He had never seen a D 3 football game before. Even though we sat through pouring rain, he absolutely loved it and couldn't believe how good the players were. We come onto this site for information and to have fun and to do the pick ums and share insights, not to be personall attacked. there I said my piece.

Well I am glad that is over with..

I have had my own business since I was 22 years old. Having a limp and walking with a cane since I was 12 knowing that my limitations in the job market would be bias as to what I could or could not do. Over the many years I have learn to simply enjoy watching athlete's, both men and women, do things with thier bodies that I could not do. Hence, I learned to respect the practice, timing, and dedication that they must endure.

Yes, I put competition out of business and hired those people to work with me. Never once did any of the people that I did work for, worked with me, or competitors hear anything but good things about all of them. Only because of what an old shop owner in Brooklyn told me. Sugar works better than lemmons. A sour taste is remembered longer that the sweet one, but your always glad to find a sweet one.

Old,

You rock...life is too short and precious not to be grateful each minute of each day...staying in the moment, never taking the next breath for granted......to live happy, joyous, and free....amen

Ryan, weather is about the only thing that may keep me away from Muhlenberg/Moravian. If I make it I will take my old lap top and keep a running post for you. Of course if the wireless signal be with me.
Have fun in Ind. Take a snow shovel.

Hello Everyone,

69 Mule here out in Southern California with my first post.  I am a newbie but I have been following your post patterns for the last two football seasons as the Mules have risen to national prominence in D3.  Your posts have been very entertaining and enlightening so I have decided to register and join in the fun.

Unfortunately, the reason I am finally getting around to this was the shocking remarks made by Muledaddy to BT Express.  Muledaddy, I have two things to say about your remarks.  First, I think you weren't contrite enough in your apology.  To make up for putting your foot so far in your mouth, you should send BT Express a fifth of his favorite libation (I hope it is a 16 year old single malt).  Second, arrogance and pomposity make for bad luck.  I'm with Coach Chris on that – we need all the good Karma we can muster to get through Moravian and then the playoffs.  Let's not jinx the Mules!

I moved West right after graduation in 1969 and had no contact with Muhlenberg or any classmates.  A few years ago the Mules came out to California and played Cal Lutheran (a 10 minute drive away) and that rekindled a little interst.  I ran ito two classmates that I recognized at the game!  Surfing the web I found this site and also found that I could listen to the Mules on the internet radio broadcasts of some of the games and I have become a fan.

Thanks to you all for keeping me entertained.  Now you have to listen to my two cents!

Go Mules and go Centennial Conference!

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

69Mule,

Welcome aboard,
It's been a heck of a ride these past four years, watchig the Mules climb out of the pit and reach the top of a mountain, undisputed CC champs.

I could not agree more with you about karma, and we can use all we can get if the Mules  are to get by a well rested and very determined Moravian team,
thus preserving our 2nd consecutive undefeated regular season and putting us in good shape for playoff seeding.
It's a great school, a great conference, and having had a son play 4 years on the Mules has been an experience that I will always cherish as a gift from God.

Unfortunately, my boy is out as a result of a knee injury sustained last week,
but the team is deep and hopefully will not miss a beat. It's been a game at a time,
so far so good,,
and hopefully this approach will see us through.
In closing, my apology was sincere, I am contrite, but I offer this in mitigation: I am sitting here, Weds am, knowing that my son has yet to receive his MRI, the bureaucratic health system causing ongoing great emotional stress, not to mention the kid not getting any physical treatment.Perhaps my frustration set a hair trigger and I
overeacted to the innocuous comment of BT, to whom  I will gladly send a bottle of
his favorite libation, this being a grand idea.
