Muledaddy
Good job Muledaddy, i'm checking the Dictionary on some of those words you put into your last posting........ and also i'm hoping all goes well with your sons MRI, my prayers and thoughts are with you.
Your other postings almost had me quoting Rodney King " Can't we all just get along " ?, but a man of your caliber who i know personally came to your senses and "its all good "
So like i said a couple of postings ago, Good luck to all Schools on this last Saturday of the season, and to those teams who will be going into the play-offs, good luck to them also.
Thanks again D3Boards.

Welcome aboard 69Mule, How did you know I like 16 year old single malts? Muledaddy, I hope your boy is OK. I have had two of my children suffer ACL injuries. You are right, just going through the red tape with insurance, x rays and finally an MRI is nerve racking.  It's not like Tom Brady or McNabb or any professional athlete who knows just about right away what they are dealing with. Hopefully it turns out for the best.

Good morning BT and Muledaddy and all,

Thanks for the welcome.  I recommend a nice Lagavulin single malt.  Goes great with cigars and good buddies.

Muledaddy, I know what it is like dealing with the healthcare business.  I was self employed for quite a few years and because of that and family members with pre-existing conditions I got the shaft from the health insurance companies.  Dealing with this mess can certainly foul one's mood.

I pray your son's injury turns out to be minor and he'll be able to perform some heroics for the Mules in the playoffs.

Can someone tell me the deadline for this week's pickems?

BTEXPRESS

Mule 69 Usually the picks are in by Friday. I guess the Centennial Conference games are played every Saturday at 10:00am your time ( West Coast) I guess the good thing about living out there is you don't struggle to stay awake watching the Saturday night college games on ESPN. ( Ha Ha)

muledaddy, sorry to hear about your son.  i hope that all will be well and he can return to normal in due time.  it is always a shame to go out on the sideline, but at least he has something to be proud of from the last 4 years.

as a person who has also misread others points, your apology only has to satisfy btexpress but mule69's suggestion never hurts.  ::)

i, for one am hoping for the mules to stay in the south, so that we can have that rematch you have been wishing for all year. :)  good luck this weekend.

BONUS MILLSAPS

I'm picking the Mules with my heart.  The Hounds have whipped our butts good more often than not. We're at their house to boot.  This game will be a squeaker.  Could be a battle of two good kickers.

BT, I moved to California for the climate.  When I was 13, I swore as I was doing my paper route in a blizzard,  that I would move to California right after college and that I did.  Those gray days, one after the other, in the leaky Lehigh Valley helped with that decision.  At my age, I never fight the urge to nap.  A good nap before bed time is fine by me.  I can only see UCLA get there butts kicked so many times!  At least basketball season is nigh.

Any news on your son's injury, Muledaddy?  Will keep my fingers and toes crossed.

Regional rankings are out... Just click on the D3 logo above and look for regional rankings.

The weather for Sat., as BTE has stated in the past, looks wet, cold, and a parent's day to show love to the children.
Old guys like me, with no children playing in the mud, can stay home and look at live stats while doing numerous other things.

Mule, if the weather breaks up I'll try and make it other wise it is going to have to wait for playoffs.

muledaddy

Mates,
weather may be dicey for the big game on saturday at Moravian.Mules run better in mud than Greyhounds,
in the animal kingdom.I see the same on the field if weather becomes a factor. Deferownse will be the keyto the game.Look close at both teams stats and draw your own conclusions...use olympic scoring..throw out the best and the worst......and score on what's left.......I see an edge for the Mules. It should be a great game, with 2 top notch qbs, 2 strong running games.....and 2 geat kickers.......defense,defense,defense...ps..mri results tomorrow...thanks
for all good wishes for my son...all members of the family really appreciate the outpouring of sincere concern and
prayers....defense, defense,defense
wins the game.....Go Mules!!!!!

wesleydad

muledaddy, in the animal kingdom mules dont run at all!!!!!!! ::)

How is it that the school isn't taking care of the insurance end and getting the mri post haste? I would think that the injury happening in a team game or practice should be covered...
Then again if you are dealing with Allentown Hosp. I understand that they don't take all insurers

PaWesley,
It has been a nightmare and I have premiere coverage allegedly, paying close to 20000 to cover wife, son, and me.Aetna sucks, the health system sucks, and I can not imagine what comes next,
when we have socialized national healthcare.I expected prompt reasonable service and treatment and
the healthcare institutions and the insurers are not interested in the patient, only the buck.i do not include
the fine team doctor in the above rant, knowing that he is as frustrated by the system as we are,
especially since he is a former college football player, treats the NFL team which holds preseason camp
in the Lehigh valley, and takes care of the world Champion Phillies AAA farm team, the Lehigh valley
Iron Pigs......Hmmmm, mules, pigs.......i guess he doesn't treat any other teams with barnyard animal names......but I am not sure......l have faith in him...but not the system that makes my kid wait so long..
in physical and emotional pain.......call me a crybaby..but thats the way it is......SERENITY NOW !!!!!!!

Why isn't the school taking care of it???
