Teamski

I wanted to pass on my congratulations to the Muhlenberg Mules for a good football game.  While I know the Muhlenberg offense didn't make much headway, the defense really stood out and kept the Wesley offense off balance.  That took some spirited play to do.  I was impressed by the pass rush that landed some pretty impressive sacks.

I hope that Muhlenberg and Wesley will continue to play in the seasons ahead as it would definately be an excellent rivalry.   It was nice to meet Muledaddy once and for all.  ;)

Mulefolk,

It just wasn't our day.Congrats to Wesley, a very good team with lots of class.Wesleydad and Teamski, the pleasure was mine, meeting fellow D3 fans at the game. I only wish we were not quite as banged up
as we were, thinking that we  could have given you a better contest. We just never got going offensively, your defense being vey good.Things might have been a little different if some of our late season injuries
hadn't happened, but maybe not. l think both programs would benefit by continuing to play one another, especially if the CC seriously wants to raise its level of play a notch.I think our defense stood up pretty well overall, with the exception of the Hail Mary lapsewith no time on the clock at halftime. We droped the ball when we had our chances in the first half, a no-no in playoff competition. It's been a great run, with 2
CC titles, 4 yrs of screaming my lungs out, and a lot of wonderful friends. God bless.

muledaddy, it was nice to meet you today.  the mules should be proud of the defensive effort they put out today.  i wish your son good luck with the surgery and you and your family a happy holiday season.  thanks for asking about my other son serving our country in the army in afghanistan.  :)

Old,

It comes as a shock that all 3 CC teams went down to defeat.I would have bet that it couldn't happen.

All fought hard, 2 of 3 had leads, and it just was a tough day for our cnference. I still think the  conference is getting stronger than it was in the past, but what do I know, with a 1-4 pickem record this week....
the last minute field goal in Texas was just a bellweather of a difficult day, on the 45th anniversary of
the death of Camelot.

Hounds

Congrats to CC seniors, wish all well as they proceed to join the rest of us.Hounds gave the SeaGulls all they could ask for ,dominated them in 1st half ,but they adjusted at intermission, blown coverage on pass play was the big play.Defense  did a good job.I believe all three teams showed that the CC belongs in a playoff picture.Ater my son playing 2yrs MAC and 2yrs CC the topic comes up which is better conference. The fun now begins with who will be next year favorite, I think John Hopkins looks good,But my son will tell u as long a Mitchell qb's Dickinson u can never count them out.Mule Daddy hope surgery goes well. my son will see family Doc this week,Ater 4yrs of linebacking in college and 4 in Hs,bad shoulders and Knee after yesterdays game.My nephew is being recruited by CC schools local area QB so I will continue to follow CC football happy holidays to all

muledaddy, your team fought hard. I had expected it to be another Wesley blowout. But your defense was excellent, and always putting pressure on our offense. Your QB also was good. He kind of reminded me of Doug Flutie. He was frustrating to watch though  ;) Whenever it looked like he was going to be sacked for a huge loss, he would just duck and run for a 10 yard pickup. Your defense was good and took advantage of a lot of WC mistakes. I did not think that your defense was so good. They constantly pressured our QB and you guys kept the ball out of Larry Beavers hands. So good game, and hopefully our teams will meet again in the future.

One thing that happened in the fourth quarter that we were all talking about on the Wesley side was the lack of desperation that the Mules playedin the 4th quarter. Using 2 mins and 3 plays at a clip just to go 10 yrds. That last drive last almost 9 minutes but only gatherer 60 or so yrds? Wesley's D played very well but at the point don't you try and take a crack at some long passes?

Good Morning to all
I would like to say something about the Muhlenberg & Wesley game, in the first quarter this game could have gone either way, i do think the cold weather had a lot to do with that, cold hands, dropped balls, fumbles, most definitely a factor. But these Mules hung in there but they lost to a very good Wesley team quick to the ball on both sides. Muhlenberg had a GREAT run these last 2 years, though its hard for the seniors to end there season like that, but one door closes and many more doors will open for these men. So congratulations to Muhlenberg for a great season and good luck to all the seniors.
Also i would like to wish Wesley the best of luck in Texas this saturday, your team showed me and others what a class group of men you have and a really good football team, at the end of the game when both teams got together in the middle of the field and got down on one knee and i assume to say a prayer ( not sure if some don't like to bring a higher source into this ), that just showed me something that i haven't seen in along time.
So GO WESLEY !!!
Good luck again in Texas !
and a HAPPY THANSKGIVING TO ALL !
