On this ,the day of the semifinals, with it being determined that this year's Stagg Bowl will, in fact, be a rematch of last year's, I would like to proudly announce THE 2008 CENTENNIEL CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR,

PART OF THIS YEAR'S ALL MULEDADDY TEAM (and preseason All American) , MIKE 'TINY' NOLAN, an immovable force at center, without whom the Mules would never have won back to back championships.

The balance of the team, limited to CC players, will be announced forthwith.

Hey Juniata fans, any scuttlebutt on a possible new coach? Any names being talked about? It has been almost a month since the old staff was let go.

I have been checking the local papers and Juniata's web site, but so far nothing, unless I missed it.

sometimes they wait until the new coach talks to all the players, sometimes they do not.

Well it looks like Juniata has a new Head Football coach. Carmen Felus, the Offensive Coordinator the past three seasons at 1AA University of Tennessee @ Chattanooga was named to the position yesterday. He had previously coached at DII IUP so I guess he has a lay of the land in Central Pa. Wish him well with the Eagles, although it doesn't look like Chattanoga set the world on fire during his tenure there going 1-11 in 2008, 2-9 in 2007 and 3-8 in 2006. IUP was 5-5 in 2006 during his final season as OC there.
