All the home games we will make, the away games.....the jury is still out on that one, but there is nothing like being on the visitor's side when your team is winning, so i might be tempted to go to most of the away games, if i do i will be in touch.

GO MULES !

I was just looking over the Wesley(185) roster and  I noticed 5 or so new recruits from the Lehigh VaIiey area., Wonder if it was because of the playoff game at up there last year. I don't remember any kids from that area at wesley over the years.

A roster of 185 kids, unbelievable! I know Mt Union, W & J, St John's, etc have preseason rosters that size, but realistically how many of those kids stick with the program all 4 years. Another question I always wondered was if they left the football team, do they still stay in school or do they transfer. I guess if your son is one of the lucky ones to play that is nice. But if they are a running back and line up the first day and there are 20 other running backs, it has to be a little demoralizing.

BT.

There was a big number that stayed around last year but I know there is a number of them that don't last the first week but do stay in school.  I'll keep an eye on the roster that's posted after camp. And some stick out the  first year and leave

Hey guys.  Good to see football season is right around the corner!  I'm a Guilford alumnus who can always get a personal look at the more "southern" South Region teams (ODAC, USAS, SCAC, etc.).  As I prepare my ballots for the South Region Top Ten, however, I always want to get a better feel for the UAA, PAC, CC and ACFC.

Who are the movers and shakers in your region and who'll be watching the taillights of the leaders?  I see SVC is now in the PAC, but I'm guessing they're not yet eligible for the title.  Are Thomas More and W&J still the teams to beat in the PAC?  Is Wesley still a threat to make Salem?  Are the Mules in line for a 9-1 or 10-0 season in the CC?  Thanks for your thoughts.

Let's get the season started!  Intracity, but interconference, rivals Guilford and Greensboro in the 13th Annual "Souper" Bowl, September 5 at 1 pm.   Can't wait!

Could the Mules go 10 -0 or 9-1 sure, but they probably lost too much from last year, Dickinson needs to get out of the gate fast and get past Grove City and Hobart to set up a show down with Hopkins. On paper JHU is the favorite but not by much over the Red Devils and Mules. This could be the closet CC race in years with all the teams from top to bottom much improved. Would be very surprised if the CC champion goes undefeated.

Mates,

It's almost time...football is in the air...camps start this weekend...just a few weeks until gametime...

look for a great year in the CC, even more exciting than the last few....avoiding the nonconference pitfalls

at the beginning of the year will be imporant as the competition sets up for one hell of a run for the

championship....meanwhile, 185 on the Wesley roster....YIKES... I guess I was lucky my kid was a Mule or he might never have had a chance at getting serious playing time..things work out right, usually..........

Thanks, BTEXPRESS.  There are a couple of CC teams on my radar to start the season.

I have recently heard from my neighbor, a former Dickinson Devil, that QB Ian Mitchell tore his ACL and MCL at practice. Can anyone confirm this. Nothing has been written on the Dickinson Website.

If that is true that would be a devastating loss for the Red Devils. With him, they are a serious threat to win the conference, without him, well....... ????

Trash info from the former Red Devil.  This former Red Devil must not be following camp very close.

I'm new to the board and was wondering what are everybody's thoughts on the preseason rankings? Graduation has taken a heavy toll on both Muhlenberg and Moravian, it seems like mostly a two team race with Hopkins and Dickinson. Hopkins QB is still young but they have a workhorse in Kase. Mitchell is a proven leader and winner for Dickinson and has serious offensive weapons in O'Connor and Lord. Gettysburg has proven they can score with the best of them but will they ever be able to stop anyone. F&M is improving but seems to be a year or 2 away. Muhlenberg is always competitive but it seems they lost way too much to contend. Moravian needs some offensive playmakers to step up and they could once again contend. Look forward to hearing everyone's thoughts

First, I'd like to apologize to Ian Mitchell and the Dickinson Red Devils. I meant no harm by writing what I wrote, I was just looking for clarification. I hope Mitchell has a healthy and successful season. As for CCFan's post, I think that much more will fall onto the shoulders of the Hopkins QB since most teams will stack the box to stop Kase, forcing them to throw. As for Muhlenberg, NEVER COUNT THEM OUT! I have seen in the past that Muhlenberg is always tough. Dickinson is my preseason favorite because of that offense. A second year with the no huddle, along with Mitchell, O'Connor and Lord is very scary. They also have one of the Centennial Conferences toughest players in Tim Wells, a fullback. He is a bruiser.

Mitch should have a good year, and so should the whole offense. This might be one of the most dangerous offensive teams I have ever seen at Dickinson. The schedule is tough for the Red Devils, but I think this is the year they can handle it week in and week out. Grove City on the road should be a good test for the tough week 2 clash with #15 Hobart.
