So good to see you back posting, old ends - the season's getting ever closer.

Does anyone have any predictions for a first team all-conference this year? Both POTY's are gone with Kase and Wixted. Does anyone know much of what Dickinson will be like this year? I know they lost a bunch of seniors. Does anyone know who has graduated/who will replace them? Let's get this forum rolling into August!

I'm interested in hearing what kind of recruiting year CC schools are having. I heard that Ursinus got stud RB/SS Bryan Ellis from the McDonogh School in MD. The kid is an absolute beast and will be an impact player as a freshman. They also got Neill Kennedy, a DB/WR also from McDonogh. Very smart kid with great football instincts who will develop into a nice asset. Susquehanna is bringing Alex Terpening, brother of DE Trevor. He'll probably be moved to WR. Any others?

Muhlenberg got a solid LB in Kory Critchon from Los Angeles' Chaminade Prep.

Susquehanna is a very good team.  I think they will definitely be able to compete for the CC title.  I have a horse in this race this year (not with Susquehanna)...can't wait.

I have been watching video on this kid Kory Critchon from Chaminade Prep., he's the real deal, but then again Muhlenberg has always had a great defense.

  Good evening gentlemen,

I trust that all have had a  pleasant off-season and come back with a renewed sense of enthusiasm that only the coming of CC football can produce.

I am a year older, perhaps a little wiser, and have had the benefit of some new hardware installed.Perhaps
the blood to my  brain will circulate better, or at least I will be able to better tolerate the excitement of the season.

I will start my research, pray to the oracles, and prepare for the challenge.God Bless Old Ends!!

May we all find this to be the best of all years.....considering the Greek and I are 2 years removed from active playing sons.....the experience of a lifetime

Is it appropriate to pick these games when you have a kid who plays for a CC team?

Looks like some of the teams are posting the 2010 rosters..

F & M :http://godiplomats.prestosports.com/sports/m-footbl/2010-11/roster
Gettysburg: http://www.gettysburgsports.com/roster.aspx?path=football&
Juniata: http://www.juniata.edu/athletics/roster_manager/main_roster.html?id=1

That is all for now

Thanks...if you look at F&M's 2009 roster and compare it to their 2010 roster.  It looks like they only graduated 6 seniors who had playing time and have 18 players, who had significant playing time, coming back from the 9-2 team.

Yes. The Conference will archive the transcript of the chat.  There is no audio, however.

I'd say it's certainly appropriate to pick the games when you have a kid who plays for a CC team...I believe Muledaddy was picking games while his son was playing, lucky for him the Mules didn't lose very much during that time period so picking his son's team every week was actually an advantage. This may not be the case for everyone depending on what CC team your son plays for.

Johns Hopkins is the favorite to win the 2010 Centennial Conference football championship in a preseason poll of football coaches and sports information directors. The Blue Jays received 11 of 20 first-place votes (teams not permitted to vote for themselves) for 154 points to outdistance Franklin & Marshall (145 pts, 7 firsts). Ursinus was third (126, 1), followed by Susquehanna (107, 1), Dickinson (99), Muhlenberg (90), McDaniel (57), Moravian (52), Gettysburg (51) and Juniata (19).

Your thoughts, as always, are appreciated.
