With the Mules losing to F&M this weekend, that leaves Ursinus alone at the top of the conference. Ursinus has Moravian and Muhlenberg over the next 2 weeks and Moravian is far from the team that started 1-2 with the emergence of Johnson at QB. I think it's a tall order for the Hounds to take down Ursinus but I don't think it is going to be a cake walk for the Bears this weekend in Bethlehem. The Mules have their opportunity to hand Ursinus a league loss in 2 weeks as well. Both games are on the road for Ursinus so if they come out of the next 2 weeks without a loss they will have some serious momentum going into the playoffs.

I listened to the Moravian Game this weekend, and it seems as though Juniata is as down as ever unfortunately. Offense for Moravian has continued to improve under Johnson and the defense came up big with 2 defensive TDs. Any insight on other games would be appreciated. From what I read, a blocked punt turned out to be the deciding factor in the F&M win over Muhlenberg.

Was out of town last week and could,t get my picks in before the friday night game.

I was at the F&M vs. Muhlenberg game.  It was obvious I was watching two very good teams.  Muhlenberg had some success running the ball to the outside in the first half but F&M successfully adjusted and was able to hold them down from there.

Both teams were inconsistent offensively, however F&M was more successful in converting 3rd and longs - most likely due to the experience at the QB position.  Muhlenberg did do a good job at keeping the F&M attack bottled up by putting pressure on the QB while maintaining tight coverage.

At the end of the day, special teams made all of the difference.  Muhlenberg missed a short field goal and F&M blocked 2 punts, one for a TD.  Curious as to why Muhlenberg lines up their punter only 10 yds back from the line of scrimmage.   Both punt blocks came from straight up the gut.

Hopefully one of these teams gets to the post season to show what they can do.
