Felus went to high school about 45 minutes from Juniata (Penn Cambria) and played at the school formerly known as Western Maryland.  He's probably as good a fit for that program as they will find.

Two points on Stagg Bowl eve,

1. Felus looks like a good fit for the Juniata head coaching spot;I look for rapid advancement of that team next year and the following 2 years.

2. The All Muledaddy team for this year, led by All American Mike Nolan,

mirrors the Centenniel Conference All Conference team as published on the website, with the exceptions of Mike Weick (McD), Josh Roy (Juniata) and Mike GawelMule) being elevated to the first team, rather than the second unit.

Mates,

The d3 line is 60 pts over/under.......I like under......is everyone else on the over ....but then,, I alsolike

the Warhawks.......apparently not a popular pick on this board.....oh well...aint the first time ......
thanks to all, especially Old Ends, for the great job he did on this board this year....it has been a pleasure,
and sometimes an emotional and educatioanl experience...but , overall, a great avocation.....Merry
Christmas aand Happy New Year to All.....thanks for the consideration and well wishes for my son, who
is home watching the game with me, looking forward to getting his surgery over, and has a deep appreciation for all that 4 yrs of d3 football has done for  him as an athlete , scholar, and. person.......or should we say scholar-athlete, just to keep the spirit of the season joyous for all......

Well it was a fun season. Every year it seems to go by fast. Congratulations to Mount Union with another Championship. As I watched the game on Saturday I realized what playing Football at the Division III level means. From the beginning of practice in the middle of August up till the championship game it was a fun season. Good luck to all the graduating Seniors and to all the returning players who are probably in the weight room right now getting ready for next season. I have enjoyed the banter(for the most part) on this board this season. Good luck to Juniata's new coach and to all the other CC coaches out on the recruiting trail this winter. The CC should be very competative and fun again in 2009. Happy holidays to all.

Old, BT and all the rest,

Thank you for letting me join the wonderful world of d3 football, CC style.I know

it sounds corny and trite, but you have made my life experience better for having

become a part of your community. My son's college football career was a great source of joy to me, but it wa magnifed by the CC conference messageboard experience. Happy Holidays to all and God Bless.

Greetings to all on the CC Boards!

Many thanks for an entertaining season on these boards and for welcoming me to the group.  Special thanks to Old Ends for the links to interesting articles about the CC teams and players and to Muledaddy who adds lots of excitement.

Muledaddy, I hope that you will be back next year because without your input everyone's blood pressure might get too low  ;D.  Please let us know how your son's knee is mending and of any recruiting news from the Mules' inner circle as well.

Best wishes to all for a healthy and happy 2009.

See you next fall.

What is the general thoughts on the new Top 25 rankings. They are now listing Muhlenberg as #25. They are a good #25

BTEXPRESS

CC12, looking at the final rankings, you could make an argument for the Mules from anyway from 15th to 25th. I think if the final score against Wesley was a little closer they would have finished closer to 15th. But at least they finished in the top 25. I know I am biased as most of us who follow the CC are, but the conference was a lot stronger top to bottom and hopefully we can get a team in the future who will win a first round NCAA game.
