Some tough games to choose here...especially the lower teams in the conference.

This week's picks look tough to me. Some good close games this week.

HOPKINS over Gettysburg ( This game will be close, can either defense stop the other?)
DICKINSON over F & M( Another close one, but the Conestoga Wagon trophy stays in Carlisle for a 6th straight year)
URSINUS over Juniata ( The bears offense is starting to jell)
CATHOLIC over McDaniel ( Tossed a coin for this pick)
LVC over Moravian ( The Dutchman take down their third staight CC opponent)
UNION over Muhlenberg ( The Mules could be 0-2 for the first time in years)

Gentlemen-
I've been out of the loop for a little while and wanted to check our board for any updates on the happenings of the CC.  Any news?  I'm seeing a lot of "pick ems'" but no discussion threads.  Must have been a quiet week in the hunt for the Boot.  I'll look forward to seeing how this week turns out for our Centennial guys!

getting ready for a great weekend of Centennial football!  It's "Friday Night Lights" as Hopkins entertains Gettysburg.  Last year the two teams combined for over 1,000 yards of total offense.  Will we see that again?  It's "Wagon Week" as Dickinson travels to Lancaster to take on Franklin & Marshall for the Conestoga Wagon Trophy.  Two of the CC's top QB's take center stage in Ian Mitchell and John Harrison.  Keep an eye on the battle between Pat O'Connor and Barry Lovett!  Ursinus travels to Juniata to take on the Eagles with both teams looking for their first win of 2009.  Out-of-Conference play features Catholic-McDaniel, LVC-Moravian and Union-Muhlenberg.  Get the lowdown on all the games from the head coaches.  http://centennialconference.blogspot.com/2009/09/football-press-conference_15.html

Muledaddy,

I was at the Hampden-Sydney vs. Gettysburg game last week.  G'burg was extremely efficient offensively.  They threw the ball down the field and looked great on crossing routes.  Also they did not have a turnover until the overtime.  I think they are a dangerous team because they are never out of a game as they proved in the Lebanon Valley game.  They may not have all the pieces to win the CC but they certianly have a chance to win any game.
