F&M's passing game has been extremely successful, so far this season.
Harrison didn't throw an uncatchable pass last year. Several would have required good catches, but not one pass seemed in danger of being picked off.  F&M will probably have to establish more of a running game this week than what they had the last two weeks.  There's a lot of speed in the back field if they can get a gap.
Hobart didn't seem to be a 17th ranked team.  Dickinson played well, but the opponent may not have been as advertised.  It was great that these 2 Centennial Conference teams won.  I'll have to repond to RedDevil4Life even though my cousin is a Red Devil alumnus--Go Dips.
The weather looks like it's going to be great for football.

Thought the Mules were solid today in their defeat of the Union Dutchmen. dlip always has a ton of respect for the Mules and feels they will battle all season long and continue to grow in the CC. Union came in today very over confident and simply stated, "thought their **** didn't stink." The Mules clearly put the U in their place and deserve much credit for the W. dlip feels like Union played one of it's worst games in dlips recent memory but does not feel that is in anyway an excuse for the L. Congrats Mules and dlip wishes you a ton of luck for the remainder of 09', you deserve it!

Wild game at F&M.
F&M's running game against Dickinson's running game
Dickinson kicks a field goal with 4 seconds left to win 43-42.
F&M moved the ball at will passing.
Dickinson moved the ball at will running.
F&M was unable to successfully convert on 2 extra points tries, so went for 2 on their last three scores converting all three with pass plays.
An extremely exciting game to watch.
Dickinson's quarterback was extremely elusive, and their big running back ran with power.
F&M's offensive line gave Harrison plenty of time to look for an open receiver.

Does anyone have the match ups for next week?
I have to make my picks tonight.
I might not have access to a computer next week.

Did your cousin play? And what a game.  Big time shoot out in Lancaster today. The Wagon stays in Carlisle for the 19th time in 22 years. Good luck next week to F & M

A game of inches........the Devil winning chip shot field goal brushed the fingers of the F and M defender attempting the block, but not enough to send it off course.
This prognosticator would have truly welcomed that additional inch, just to redeem
myself for my misplaced faith in G'Burg on Friday night at Hopkins.

I did have the extreme pleasure of seeing a Mike Donnelly miracle in Allentown as the Mule defense and special teams rose to the occasion, upsetting previously ranked #22 Union.........nice to see the Greek again in person.....and the beat goes on...
I wil pick from Myrtle Beach SC this week, a most suitable site for the forlorn chaser
of the little white ball.

My picks for this weekend. Looking at the schedule, I don't really see any upsets:

HOPKINS over Moravian  ( The Jays offense is too much for the Hounds to stop)

MUHLENBERG over Gettysburg ( Might be closer than people think. Mules coming off the big win against Union. Bullets might be the best 0-4 team in the country)

F & M over Juniata ( This could get UGLY)

DICKINSON over McDaniel ( The Red Devils owe McDaniel one from last year's rain soaked upset win)

ccfan27

My Picks for the weekend

Hopkins beats Moravian (Gonna be a tough year for the hounds)

Gettysburg beats Muhlenberg (Let down game for the Mules after a big win? Gettysurg has the offense, can it stop the young mules offense)

F&M beats Juniata (Impressive performance for F&M last weekend just fell short of shocking the league)

Dickinson beats McDaniel (It could monsoon this weekend and the Devils wouldn't let a repeat of last year happen)

SKI?  The SKI I know???
Congrats to the Green Terror for getting Coach Keating win #100...truly a milestone for Uncle Tim.

Well i went 6-0 last week but i could easily go 0-4 this week thats what makes this Centennial Conference so good.
Well here goes:
Mc Daniel beats Dickinson ( my 1st upset )
F. & M. beats Juniata ( no upset here )
Muhlenberg beats Gettysburg ( a great offense playing an always impressive defense Mules in a squeaker )
Moravian beats J.H. ( 2nd upset )

p.s. it was great seeing Muledaddy last week in Allentown.
