Speaking of Leb Val....they are 3-0 against CC Teams.  Maybe they should join the conference.

ccfan27

Yea. They are good team this year, I saw them against Moravian. They have a chance to win the MAC. Very strong offensive football team.

The first weekend of fall means the first full weekend of Centennial football action with games at four venues. The biggest game of the day pits a pair of CC unbeatens as Moravian visits Johns Hopkins. Can't make the trip to see your favorite team play? You can watch two games - Moravian-Hopkins and Muhlenberg-Gettysburg - on your computer with streaming video courtesy of JHU and Gettysburg. You can also listen to the game in Baltimore, as well as the Dickinson-McDaniel contest.

Hey i'm not a Dickinson fan or a McDaniel fan, i just thought i would stir the pot a little bit on this board......

ccfan27

Greekgeek...We definitely need more of that on this board. It seems like all we get is pick 'ems. The game i'm truly interested this weekend is Gburg and the Mules, I had a really hard time picking that game and think it could definitely go either way. My personally opinion is the Mules offense may not have the fire power, they needed a kickoff return td to win last week. I'd like to hear others' thoughts on this game or any other game in the CC for that matter.

HSC85

I watched the Gettysburg - Hampden-Sydney game.  Gettysburg was very impressive.  They moved the ball well and did not have a turnover until the overtime.  I think if they hang onto the ball,  they will move the ball and are very dangerous.  They definitely have the fire power to win this weekend.

I'm a Muhlenberg fan, which i'm sure you figured out by now, and i was at there game last week and they could have easily won that game by 30, some Freshmen mistakes but there is a lot of raw talent on this team and Muhlenberg always has trouble with Gettysburg when they go to the Battlegrounds, there defense is always good, do i think that Muhlenberg is going to win the rest of there games? i might have been born at night not but not last night.
I really like this Conference every couple of years another team steps up and makes for some really GREAT games and this weekend is no different.
So if i rustle a few feathers on this Board its all in fun, and thats the way i meant it.
Have a GREAT weekend Everyone ! See you on the Board soon.

   Mulefans/Mulehaters,

Whatever you say, the Mules have heart, if not offensive experience in the backfield. Can they beat the
Bullets tomorrow? Yes, but it will require them to go deep within theirselves, play incredible defense, and put some points on the board.
The freshman qback must grow up NOW, and complete 57-60 per cent while  avoiding the forced throw
interceptions. Will 2 great coaches do great jobs in a very competitive setting? You can bet your life on it.
Is there another game in the CC tomorow that offers the potential excitement that Mules-G'Burg does?
Bothe D3 and yours truly doubt it. Can someone tell me how I can watch this game from Myrtle on
G'Burgsports TV? Que sera, sera. Get the ball to the receivers and the Mules have a very good shot.

BTEXPRESS

I agree the Mules vs Bullets is the CC game of the week. Gettysburg runs a crazy offense that is sometimes hard to stop. But never count out Muhlenberg as evidenced over the last few seasons. GBurg might be the best 0-3 team around and hopefully it is a close exciting game. That is the beauty of D III football and especially the CC conference. Unlike other conferences who seem to have the same one or two teams at the top every season, it seems the CC has a team rise from the middle of the pack and make a good run for a few years. Let's all enjoy the games on Saturday.

I haven't looked at every team across the country, but this is exactly what I've been thinking all week.

I'm in Pa. right now and interviewed Coach Streeter a couple of hours ago. Looking forward to a good game tomorrow!

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

allright mule people, who is going to be at the game?  ryan and i are trying to figure out what to do pregame, yes i am also making the trip as this was the best game that i could find within a short (less the 3 hours) driving distance.  let us know so we can find whomever is in the lot.  how is the tailgating at gburg?  i know the mule people travel well and met some of you last year in the playoff game when i was talking to muledaddy before the game.  hope to hear from some of you this evening as i will be calling ryan later to set up the day.

Gettysburg hail mary pass as time expires comes oh-so-close to being caught, but it's not. Score is a whopping 3-3 at the half.

Lots of missed turnover opportunities. Muhlenberg dropping passes that should be INTs but also coughing the ball up a couple of times and recovering their own fumbles.

Hey Red Devil and CC FAN, i think GT9 and Terrorizer are making some pretty good points about this game against Dickinson and Mc Daniel. Who knows which way the football will bounce this weekend for all 4 games. ( i'm just saying )

Making a good point doesn't mean to much once to take the field. Dickinson took care of business today behind another big day for Mitchell. Maybe another CC player of week for him??

muledaddy,

hope your return from myrtle beach was better than the mules played yesterday. They were beaten handily in every aspect of the game.  what are they doing offensivly?  other than throwing to cresta, who is a very good receiver, they dont have much to offer.  gettysburg, who had given up 40+ in the first 3 games, dominated the o line and had pressure on the qb almost all game.  the running game is just ok at best.  when your only score is a 45 yard field goal, which for the conditions was impressive, you are in trouble.  defensivly they did not seem to play with the same intensity that i remember from the last 2 playoff games against wesley.  gettysburg move the ball easily between the 20's and only their inability to score in the first half kept the game even remotely close.  the weather was not much of a factor as the turf held up well to the showers.  after 3 games it seems that the mules will have to step it up on offense or this could be a long season.  i will keep in touch with you with my game plans to see if we can take in a game this season.
