Here's a question.  Will anyone who isn't affiliated with Albright, JHU, St. Thomas or Wittenberg pick at least one of them to win?  I wouldn't.

GoHop

just like in horse racing, you can't always just pick the favorite. if everyone picked only favorites then there is no point in doing the rest of the pick-um's

Jeremybozz picked St. Thomas on the ODAC pick-em board. No explanation why; maybe he just had a premonition.

Of all those games, St. Thomas at least has the best chance at an upset. Still not a great chance, mind you, but if I were to go with an underdog, that's the horse I'd hitch my cart to.

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

I won't pick against any of those four top seeds left. The sad reality is that those programs are light years ahead of most D 3 football programs. If you look any any other D 3 sport, you can turn your program around and have a chance at a National Title with the addition of a few Super Star athletes, not in football. It takes years of recruiting, good coaching, upgrading facilites, favorable administrations etc to get football programs to that level on a consistant basis. Just look at Division IA, why are the same twenty schools always in the hunt with the BCS? Look no further than Notre Dame and their expectations. I compare ND's problems to most D 3 schools. It is very hard for the average D 3 football coach to recruit the players needed to compete on a national level with the restrictions placed on them by the administrators.

My pick ums

muledaddy

Mt Union, Johns Hopkins, Whitewater, Linfield

NOTE: Temporary insanity resulted in my picking half the games and both sides of one game last week. I was finishing up Thanksgiving dinner and packing for my annual steelhead trout fishing trip (from Thanksgiving  night til the following Tuesday, on the salmon River in upstate NY) when I remembered that I had not picked and.....end of story...let's see Hopkins make us all believe in Santa just a little bit longer.......Happy Holidays to all

It is not a question of  having a pickum and picking the favorites. I just did not have to flip a coin that much this week.
One always hopes the underdog wins. It is the players, coaches, parents and fans who get to say " great year we made it to the playoff's". Not all of the people get to say that.

That is why the pickums are fun. It is our chance to also claim victory, without the bumps and injuries.

Have to go with the home teams:
Mt Union
Wesley
UWW
Linfield
