After last weeks nightmare (only 2 right) I will try to right the ship.

Dickinson over John Hopkins (The Red Devils stay undeafted)
Ursinus over Franklin & Marshall (Bears get back on the winning track)
Gettysburg over Moravian (The hounds are without thier top RB & have continued to turn over the ball too many times)
Muhlenbergover Juniata (The Mules stay on track for a showdown with the Red Devils)

Although I picked Moravian to beat Gettysburg this week, I agree this is the game of the week in the conference. It could go either way. Gettysburg has proven it can score in bunches. The Hounds must find a way to slow them down to make up for their injuries on Offense.

Dickinson over JHU (The Jays Offense looked HORENDOUS vs the Mules last week-get a clue at Hopkins)
URSINUS over F & M (blowout city, I tpredict Ursinus will turn it on with solid play from their QB from here on in.)
Mo Mos over Gettysburg(Moravian escaped a few close ones-showing they have what it takes to compete)
mberg over Juniatia(no chance of an upset here--forget it!)

None of these schools seem far enough away from another to have 'new' weather be a factor for any of them.  I think the longest bus ride is from Juniata to Muhlenberg this week and is probably in the neighborhood of 4.5 hours.

It looks no matter which way you spell it, Dickinson could not pull off another close one this week.  Any comments on the upset?  Or are the lawyers and doctors from the respective schools busy?

BTW: F&M WAS AWEFUL THIS WEEK.  ALL UC DID WAS RUN AND F & M JUST DECIDED NOT TO LOAD THE BOX AND STOP THE RUN.

Picks for week 7

I was at the Moravian game last week. Turnovers again killed the  team alomg with pi?? poor tackling by the defense in the first half.

Moravian @ F&M- I am going with the hounds. But if the turnovers continue this could be a close one
Juniata @ Gettysburg- Saw Gettysburg last week. This game is over by halftime
Ursinus @John Hopkins- IMO this is the game of the week. I go with JHU home field advantage
McDaniel @ Muhlenberg- the mules remain unbeaten for another week

Moravian @ Franklin & Marshall-  Moravian's Offense is too powerful for the Dips
Juniata @ Gettysburg - The bullets keep it going
Ursinus @ John Hopkins- UC got back on track last week and tuned somethings up for thier trip to JH.  This is a big game for both teams.
McDaniel @ Muhlenberg- The Mules D is solid and the Green Terror will have trouble moving the ball on the pooltable this week


My assesment of the F&M vs. UC might have been a little too blunt.  The UC offense relied heavily on Harper who shouldered the load very well.  This is also a shout out to the UC O-Line which had a solid game opening holes for Harper.  Though the F&M offense seemed to be off-track at times, the UC D gave them few opportunities to put points on the board.  Solid play all around by the Bears as they move on to MD to try and take down JHU for a third straight year.  Better bud :-)

Boy I it would have been nice to find this post earlier. Seems that I missed the first week of picks. Someone stated that the lawyers and doctors were missing from last week game.  Since I had meetings with the President of Dickinson, on business, I too was under the wrong mind set. Dickinson Law has never been tied into or a part of Dickinson College. In fact it is now part of Penn State. Only about 5 students a year from Dickinson even apply to the law school. Most of the law students come from outside of the state of PA.

Stating incorrect facts is considered an assumption. Ask questions of those who know and obtain the correct facts.

old ends - thanks for information on the facts.  Did you know Juniata is not in Juniata County and has no relation to Juniata Park outside of Philadelphia? 
I was commenting on how the Centennial page has 51 pages of posts where the MAC has 200+.   Apparently, the 'smart' kids who are alumni from the Centennial have better things to do than the 'dumb' alumni ('adumbni'?) from the MAC. 
Either way, my school is getting beat each week.

Just wondering how you guys feel that Muhlenberg is out of the top 25 while the a team they beat 15-0 to start the year in New Jersey is ahead of them ranked in the top 25? any thoughts ?
