Did anyone see the Dickinson vs Mulenberg game in person? From reading the press releases it sounded like Mulenberg made several big plays on  two different 4th downs to score touchdowns and come back from a 17-0 deficit. Did the weather or field conditions play a role?

Did not see the game, read the Muhlenberg sports releasse and they made no mention of conditions.
The only thing I noticed is that Dickinson and 2 lost fumbles and 2 interceptions, while Muhlenberg only lost 1 fumble.
Holding on to that ball is so important in a game like that.

Forgot the picks:

Muhlenberg-- again turnover margin in thier favor.. plus they lead over Ursinus in a lot of other stats also
Dickinson
John Hopkins
Gettysburg

Muhlenberg @ Ursinus (The Mules disrupted the Bears undefeated season last year on the pooltable, UC returns the favor on Senior day.  Very close and hard fought game)
Juniata @ Dickinson (Recovers from last weeks loss but there are going to be some lingering effects from the loss.  This game is closer than you think)
Franklin & Marshall @ John Hopkins (JHU rolls in this one)
McDaniel @ Gettysburg (McDaniel loses again after a close one in Lancaster last week)

Looks like Muhlenberg has 3 'Games of the Week' in a row.  This stretch will definitely show whether they're worthy of being conference champions.

It is hard to believe there are only two weeks left in the regular season. Here are my picks:

URSINUS over Mulenberg(it is very hard in any sport to go undefeated in a season. The Mules are coming off an emotional win last week, going with the home team Bears in a mild upset)
DICKINSON over Junita(the Devils rebound over the Eagles, although I think this game will be close as well)
HOPKINS over F&M(can't see the Dips making it two wins in a row)
GETTYSBURG over McDaniel( The Bullets have a chance to finish the season at 7-3, their best record in years)

I kind of find it curious that some think Dickinson/Juniata will be a close game.  I wonder why.

Juniata has only scored a total of 14 points in the first and third quarters in 8 previous games.

Before any Juniata fans jump on me this isn't criticism this is fact in the 8 previous games thay have scored a total of 7 point in the first quarter and 7 in the third quarter.

What makes anyone think they will be different this Saturday?

My opinion (not that it matters) is that Dickinson just lost a change to win or share the conference championship with it's loss to Mulenberg last week. After blewing a 17 point lead, they now have no shot at getting back to the NCCA playoffs with two losses. I think they will be overlooking the Eagles. However, I still feel they have more talent than Juniata and will fine a way to win, but it will be no more than 10 points.

In response to the previous question, I think the Dickinson game will be close do to the fact they lost a game against the conference leaders after starting off with a 17 point lead.  Football, more than anyother sport, is played on emotion and in the event of Juniata making a few big plays, the "here we go again" mindset can start creeping around.  Im not saying this is gonig to cause Dickinson to lose the game, but I think it will be closer than previously thought.  Juniata doesnt impress me by any means but an emotional letdown from last week could cause the Devils to faulter early.

Ursinus does have a very good shot at winning. If they do then go on to win at Dickinson, they may get a playoff bid. The only thing I can see that hurts them, by reading some of the other post patterns, is LaSalle. Not a DIV III team. I know rules are rules, but they did play up. Although LaSalle's record does not help either.

What ever happens the people who do this know thier stuff and look at everything. Read some of the other post patterns.

It seems to me, based on observation of the Mules since August, that
last week's Dickinson game was precisely what they needed to prepare them for this week's Ursinus game. Neither weather nor field conditions played any part in the Mules victory....heart (like Rocky getting off the canvas...from a 17-0 deficit), courage (to abandon their dependence on the running game that had carried them through 7 games and to resurrect their defense, which had previousl not been violated), and sheer will to win
(evidenced by 2 separate 4th down touchdowns, one following a successful fake punt first down) put the Mules where they belonged...ON TOP..See losing coach Breaux quote in 10/30 Around the Mid- Atlantic.

Mules can and should prevail over Ursinus in game of the year on Saturday.

[/b]Muhlenberg@ Ursinus (The Mules show that they are for real; this has the making of a great game, and it looks like weather should not be a factor)
Juniata @ Dickinson
Franklin & Marshall @ John Hopkins
McDaniel @ Gettysburg

Nothing like being a homer muledaddy, huh?

If an honest guy with an honest name like mine can't be a bit of a homer, who can?

I do like Dickinson, Hopkins and Gettysburg also, this week.

Go  Mules.....Kick Bears

Nicd to see that two teams, Muhlenberg and Ursinus, are ranked in the south region. Hats off to both teams.
