what does everyone think, now that the conference has been won, about possible players of the year??

old ends

Muhlenberg flex it's defensive muscle. Only 96 total yards for Ursinus and 6 sacks.. Impressive!!!
Even though they have the Centennial crown Moravin will not be a push-over.

Foot fan

Congrats to Muhlenberg on clinching the conference championship. After 2 non-conference wins against TCNJ and Union (combined 14-1  since playing Muhlenberg), the Mules have won their 1st 7 conference games. A win against a good Moravian team would be the first undefeated team in school history. Good chance for home game in NCAA tournament I would think.

BITMAT:

Thanks for keeping track of the picks this season, it has been fun. I can't let you catch me in the final week. Here Goes:

MULENBERG over Moravian ( Can't see the Mules giving up an undefeated season)
DICKINSON over Ursinus ( Can't see two Centenntial teams getting an NCAA bid, winner of this game hosts an ECAC game, although I hope I am wrong)
GETTYSBURG over F & M ( The Bullets trying for a 7-3 season, their best in years)
HOPKINS over McDaniel
JUNIATA over Gallaudet ( Murph, your suffering ends this week and lets the Eagles finish out the season on a positive note)

Murphy

I know there isn't a tegeory for toughness but if there was only one player in the conference would deserve it.  Jay Leonard quarterback for Juniata.

That young man took a beating every game and continued to play hard every play.  He certainaly is the MVP of Juniata.

Leonard and Juniata lead the conference in late hits and unsportsman like penaltys it just seemd to me that teams took their shots at him whenever thay had a chance.  I'll bet if yoiu looked at the penalty stats for the whole year he got hit late or dirty at least twice a game.

That kid is one tough hombre.

Whats happening fellas.  Just wanted to come on here and rant for a minute, Ive been reading for most of the year.  As you can tell Im a former UC guy and I must say as much as I would love to see it happen, even with a win at Dickinson, there is no way they will make the playoffs.  The CC just does not garner enough respect around the nation to have two teams get a bid.  Secondly my hats off to the Mules, they are a very good football team and I look for them to step up for the conference as a whole and play well in the playoffs.  Im willing to say right now if they win Saturday and get a game at home they will win it, its just too tough to go in there and play on the old style turf.

Murphy

Muhlenburg is a 21 point favorite over Moravian, according to the Born Power Index.

Muhlenburg is also the best team I've seen all year.  Hope they do well on Saturday and in the post season.

BTW - Juniata is a 16 point favorite over Gallaudet, according to the Power Index

Murph

I feel the W coming for you and your team this weekend!!!!

Murphy

Thanks.  Maybe I'll bring them luck because I'm going to miss the game.  Which just might make a lot of people happy.

Murphy it is sad that you have to miss the game.. Galluadet is making a comeback to football and plays an independent schedule down in Washington DC. I tried to get to one of their games against Case Western. Illness prevented that from happening. From what I can remember they like to pass and the defense was pretty good against the run.

Greetings from the Land of the Mules,

This week's picks......MULES, J[/colojuniata, Gettysburg, Hopkins, Dickinson. In the Mules-UC game, the offense hitting its 30 pts per game avg (oppponent average 7), was comfortable as the defense established itself and shuy down the bears all day with the exception of 1 drive ,immediately after the second half kickoff.

10-0 would be special, first in 107 years for the Mules, and keep the momentum going into the playoffs.
