Picks for 11/8

Muhlenberg-- Just to strong for Ursinus at home
John Hopkins-- could be a close one but the running game for Hopkins might just be enough.
Dickinson-- This to could be very close..Give credit to Juniata next year or two could make a big difference
Gettysburg-- stronger.
Catholic-- They may or may not meet the Muhls in the playoff, but if they do could be a good one

Fun
Case Western Reserve--Another team to watch.. could meet someone from the South down the road.

I know that a Muhlenberg win this weekend gives them the AQ into the play-offs. That is two years in a row which is a pretty good showing for the team and the coach. Muledaddy warned us that this team was going to be just as good, if not better, then last years team. So far he has not been wrong.  It will be a waiting game to see where and who they get to play. Moravian has a week off the prepare for the final game with the Mules this year and that will be one to watch. I might even make the 4 hrs trip to watch it, weather permitting.

Some day down the road, I hope, all of the games in the conference get picked up on more web cast so those, who live out in the middle of no where, can watch them. I know it my choice to live where there is no cable and to many trees, hills and valleys to get Dish or Direct TV. I have only been to 2 games this year, shame on me, but I have watched a few on the computer.

I will root for our conference in all play-off's so that the victory's help give the conference a better history, which Muhlenberg has already started.

To All:
If you have a student athlete make the read Ryan Tipps article about the Apprentice School. Then ask them if they would still go to their chosen school if the hours were part of the requirements??

Good article again Ryan.

2.7 seconds. An average football player may need more time to score; a great one finds a way. I've seen greatness happen.

I'll be at Homecoming on the Hill in Westminster for the Mason Dixon Line Battle Game.  Terror is typically tough on Homecoming, but Keating will find a way to lose this one.

Looks like some rain again for most of the CC games this weekend. I don't ever remember a season where it has rained so much. At least half the games played this season have had lousy weather.

BTE that is one reason I have not ventured out to as many games this year. This weekend only the Ursinus-Muhlenberg game, I think, will be played on natural surface. You brave parents and true fans need extra rain gear to keep the rain gear dry.

I know some stadiums do not allow umbrella's. Good Luck and stay dry.

Have not seen Muledaddy posting on here lately. Hope he is OK!!

Old,
Thanks for asking...all is ok.I just am not ready to asnswer the poll question....i.e. how far will the Mules go..I need a little more time...I am studying, visiting all the other boards, fighting it out with guys like Frank Rossi  and the venerable Lewdogg31(true gurus of the D3 world), looking for the answer, trying to be true to myself....and fair to all others.I need to see the Mules elevate the crispness of their game
in preparation for the battle ahead.Meanwhile, they must win 2 more games, for themselves, and the world.I would really like to have the pleasure of meeting you if you decide to make the trip.Let me know
and we can meet up. The Playoffs are still light years away, but I think i can get a feel for  what's
going to happen and the Mules play an amazing role.
Meanwhile, 1. MULES 2.Dickinson 3.Gettysburg 4.Hopkins 5.Case Western Reserve 6. Catholic

Glad to see you are back Muledaddy and everything is alright.
Don't want to look too far into the future, one game at a time....one game at a time, i think that this is how Muhlenberg has stayed so successful very focused, i don't want to appear to be too cocky.
Good luck against Ursinus this Saturday.

GO MULES !!!

Mule--

That would explain the drop in K.  Make sure you take the rain gear. If the weather is going to be lousy for the Moravian game I won't venture out. Old bones mind the dampness more than you young guys.
