nice little article about one of Moravian's players.

And a different player from Moravian at a different paper.

Old,

Let's root for Hobart  over RPI,, Montclair state over rowan, Otterbein over the Mount, and, ithaca over cortland next week.
Then, if the Mules play hard enough to win over Ursinus and Moravian, things coulld get really interesting.
Who goes where, MUC to East or Mules to East,  as a visiting no. 1 seed? But 1st, I want the Mules to kick the stuffing out of the Bears, because its Senior Day, my little Mule  is a senior, and I really, really want the Mules to start playing at a higher level, a necessity for postseason play success.
P.S I am not that much younger than you.........I just wish I was.

Mule -

The nature of my position makes it inappropriate for me to comment on the outcome of any particular contest or the virtues of a given player.

You'll have to make the pick on your own - but the Diplomats are 2-0 against Johns Hopkins after presidential election days in which a Democrat won the White House. F&M is also 2-0 on the first Saturday after Presidential elections that occurred on November 4th.

Beyond that, I offer only advice on where to find good food near campuses of Mid-Atlantic colleges and the occasional correction of factual errors.

Good luck to all this weekend.

It is always sad to report when a coach leaves. Coach Darrell Alt has resigned as head football coach at Juniata.

Comments from the Juniata gang.

What ashame for the Juniata team! Coach Alt did a good job with that program. They were moving in the right direction!I hope the transition is smooth for the team!

Mates,

coach Alt was a goood man and his team has improved steadily since joining the CC.Every game this year showed competitive progress and I think the team members and the coach can hold their heads up high. The team is in position to trun the corner next year and the man who made it happen will not be there.

This is a loss to the CC of a fine man and a good coach.

Triple take,

PC says the Ursinus-Mules game is 'closer than you think".Let's see if the team he is looking for (that beat Alfred early on) shows up.By the way, Mules scrimmaged Alfred, leading nobody to conclude that Alfred would or could play with the Mules in a real game.Ho-Hum

Gents,

Triple take said "closer than you think" I think not. Final score Mules 45-Ursinus 8 (a kick retturn and a 2 pt PAT) Does this satisfy those who thought this game was closer than you think.  I know.

Congrats to Hobart, Montclair and here we go.......playoffs are approaching time to get behind the Mules..
200+ yds today for TB J. DeLuca;nice defensive performance also,-- 16 yds on 15 carries.
Let's wait a little longer before we answer the poll question,i.e. how deep the mules go in playoffs...
to all CC fans, players, and parents, God Bless, good luck and good night.GO MULES..

:D :D :D

Maybe that gave an "inverse Sport Illustrated effect".

You highlight a game and get the opposite effect!   ;)

Congrats to Muhlenberg for winning the Centennial Conference for the second year in a row.

Do not take next week lightly for I am sure that Moravian coaches and players were at that game.
A week of help the wounds heal and make you hungry.

Good luck to both next week.

Pat Coleman

I think most thought it would be 45-7. :)
