This is not football related but some of the Conference schools are in the article about raising money for the schools:
http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/education/bal-md.college16nov16,0,3755318.story

It is not all about the sports. Keeping pace with what the student needs to stay with other colleges and to attract the best to the school takes money.

Overall three teams from the Conference, Muhlenberg, Moravian and John Hopkins are getting a chance to play another game. Depending on how they do only helps the status of the Conference. Win or lose it is a big start to getting the recognition that is needed overall.

Good luck to all, both our Conference and players.

Unfortunately no one outside the ECAC gets it about the extra game ... But it is something extra for the seniors to play one more game...
Football !!! The ultimate team sport. Anyone who plays DIII football is a winner...

Mates,

Congrats to all 3 CC teams getting post season play.Good luck to all. Special congrats to players of the year DeLuca and Rathbun, as well as their coach, The Duke. The Mules have a very
tough game coming up, the Wolverines being at least as strong as last year, when the Mules
only hung with them for a half.
Defense will either win the game for the Mules, by containing the explosive offense and keeping the number of points scored by Wesley to 26 or less, or the Mules or in trouble. Every defensive player must
play the game of his life for the Mules to prevail.SPecial teams must get the job done, with punting, place kicking, and kick coverage being critical.GO MULES

muledaddy, hope all is well with your son.  you make good points for the game, add one more thing to it, turnovers.  if wesley has them they will be in trouble, if they dont then they will be tough.

any info for me on tailgating?  the weather looks good for the weekend.  only 4 more days.

muledaddy, you stated that we can park on the street around the stadium and hang there with little bother, is that true?  will you be in the parking lot?  if so i have no problem dragging my stuff to a different location and sharing some fun banter before the game :D  is muhlenburg like most no adult beverages places, if they dont see it they dont say anything?  as far as the weather, cold is better that wet :)

muledaddy

Wesleydad,
Yep. Lots of red plastic cups seem to be around, rather than original containers.I will be there by 10 or so
and will make sure you have my cell if I do not know where my location is oing to be  in advance.Let's
see if the school gives a little hand and finds us some space where cars can park and fans can grill a dog, eat a sandwich, aand siip a beverage. I really  look forwad to meeting yyou as a fellow parent and D3 fan.

Every week D3football has articles Around the Region. Our region is the Mid- Atlantic. I have enjoyed reading this every week and as before ask for you to read it, which I hope you have.. http://www.d3football.com/columns/around-the-region/midatlantic/2008/Macon+faces+a+tall+task

One thing as parents, we must show the student athletes that we to can learn no matter what our ages. We can not be experts in everything, but learn from those in fields we are not. I must say that this is one of the first years I have enjoyed reading this article and therefore have learned as well. I am not saying this to get brownie points from Ryan, to old for that, he has done a super job with this sector.

Thanks Ryan
