Lefty, I'm not sure that I've ever seen you post on the football side of things.........welcome to the 800 pound gorilla in the sports world........pro, college and high school. Baseball might be America's pastime, but football is it's true passion!!

Pat Coleman - Monday is April 1. Are we starting the "post the schedules" gamut?

Quote from: PBR... on May 20, 2024, 02:30:08 PMDVU 2024 schedule is out... Front half looks most difficult.

https://athletics.delval.edu/sports/football/schedule

In the MAC, 4 "toughest" games on paper all on the road, against teams bringing back a lot. 5 "softer" games on paper all at home.

Aggies lost all 4 LB's and their FS. Huge loss on offense as one of the best RB's in the East, if not the country, is in the portal and has garnered some D2 and FCS interest. Big loss but they have depth.

Does the conference winning streak, never to be even closely matched once it's over, end this year? I'd say away games at Stevenson and LebVal will go a long way towards determining that. At King's and Widener as well. The 5 home games should be wins.

PBR...

Once again PBR will provide his prediction for the MAC Champion.... Drum Roll Please....

DVU will dominate once again and come out on top of the MAC!!

My prediction has not been wrong in so many seasons PBR has lost count. Drop your lunch money DVU.
PBR Out....

Frank Rossi picked Stevenson to win the MAC. What does Frank know that PBR doesn't? Hmmmmm.......

If it makes you feel better I set the line in my pick-ems at Del Val  -13.5 and so far only one person has picked HSC (and it wasn't me :-[ ).

I've got DelVal in a 27-16 win, so I'll make it number two. :)

Wow!!! When Kate doesn't show up to congratulate the Aggies........you know the board has dried up! Many of the traditional posters to the MAC board got wiped out by the Aggies dominance over many years. It will be interesting to see who stops back in, out of the shadows, when the Aggies are eventually toppled.

Let's hope that with their two start-off wins that more people get back on here for the Aggies!!!   Yesterday's game showed how their offense has spruced up quite a bit!   It was great to hear Gordon's call of the game too!!!   Congratulations on both games to Del Val!!!   Next week might be a bit harder since it's also being played down there in Maryland, but Best of Luck Team.   Also Congrats to Coach Isgro for winning his first two games.   Just a little side note, my Hubby and I will certainly miss the trips to Wilkes.   That Landmark League just couldn't be satisfied with Keystone :(.   Wilkes was our favorite away destination!

I'm still lurking...

I am excited to return to FDU's campus next week (9/28) as FDU celebrates 50 years of football. Will be good to see some old familiar faces!

Is this the year that an experienced FDU team takes out a DelVal team hit hard by graduation, transfer, coaching changes and critical season ending injuries?

It could be a better time right now than in many, many years.
