i think the only way for everyone to start their weekend off on a good foot is to make sure we are all nice and limber...so stand up and follow my instructions

1. stretch the groin for 30 seconds each direction

2. call a co-worker into your office...lay on your back and ask them to stretch your hammies

3. find something heavy in your office and put it on your shoulders...ask a different co-worker to spot you as you do squats

4. find a desktop computer and hold it over your head while you do lunges...this one is dangerous...make sure you have a co-worker spotting you

5. do 50 push ups...if you work with someone that weighs less than 80lbs ask them to sit on your back and do 25 push ups...follow that up with 50 crunchies while singing "this land is your land, this land is my land"

6. (if you wear a suit) take off your tie and unbutton your first 4 buttons and open the shirt up a bit...put your arm around the office boombalahty of your choice and invite her out to happy hour (if you have no dress code at your office like myself) take your top shirt off (wear just your undershirt) walk up to the office boombalahty of your choice and rip your shirt of like Hulk and then invite her out to happy hour

7. if all of this fails skip to #9 if not keep reading #7...eat some beans

8. give people only warm fuzzies today...no cold pricklies

9. go to happy hour with or with out boombalahty because there will be plenty of boombalahties waiting to buy you drinks since you did the C-Mob work out plan

Con...I think 3rd is a reasonable goal...there is alot of season left...should be an interesting end with 3 straight on the road and a home game us UST...

CNORTH - My star is smarter than your star!

UST fans - Have the Tommie fans still been lame this year or could tomorrow be rockin robin?
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

concordia of the north

well....that's debatable.  i'm not sure what goes into a health fitness major, but i am sure what goes into being a biology major. there must be some kind of curve to relativize those two marks.  i'll say +.3 to the bio degree.  let's just add up the numbers and see how they come out...

3.57 + .3 = 3.87
3.89 + .0 = 3.89

shoot.

I was a liberal arts guy, so I can't speak to the strengths & rigor of a Health/fitness degree versus a Biology degree.  However, I can speak a bit about fan attendance at a few games I've been to this year.

GAC @ BET – poor
UST @ BET – marginally Ok

COBBs @ UST – decent
SJU @ UST for Coach Fritz's potential 500th win – solid, but I was a little disappointed in the overall turnout.

Last year's UST & Bethel games – there was electricity in the air at both gyms
Last year's GAC @ UST – good
Last year's UST & SJU games (all 3 games) – off the hook

Tomorrow, I've gotta believe the Shoe should be jumping!

concordia of the north

it seems like all the students come to the games just to do something cheap with all of their friends.  that's cool. It's better than not coming at all, but it's worse than an actively engaged student section hanging on every crucial play.  I've really only been to UST and Bethel with a solid student section, but it's the impression I got in both gyms.

I've said this before, but one built-in advantage the St. Olaf's, GAC's, Carleton's & SJU's of the league have is that they can get the "townies" out to their games.  We certainly have the casual fans that turn out for games in the cities, but not with the same dedication of the folks in Collegeville, Northfield & St. Peter.

WW- what's your situation for tomorrow? Don't call my phone, it's not working. E-mail me with updates.

Reporter: Charles, is there anything about the incident you regret?

Sir Charles: Yeah, that we weren't on a higher floor.

still lame

I take it you haven't been to Bethel lately.  Much worse than UST.

Alright, I'm off to do my new office workout before heading out for the weekend. It's a CMob production called the "G. Love."  +K ;)

Why can't the wolves just win one of these games, if it isn't one thing it is another.  It is brutal being a wolves fan.

Clute out with a broken nose!  That hurts.  The pipes could have used their St. Mary's game to rev up for the concordia game.  It looks dim for the pipes, but as long as there is light....

It is always a good day to not be a Royal!

Interesting matchup in the post today with the Johnnies...Stiller, hopefully over the flu, will face Solaja, probably with help from Burtzel as well...Fogt contained the Auggy big man the first time around, going to have to be a team effort this time...

I'm hoping AUG wins today, not because I'm an AUG fan or anti-SJU, but I'm just hoping it will make a more interesting playoff picture.

I'm thinking they might....they are red-hot and SJU (despite VJ's homerisms  :) ) has been up & down all season. It definitely would make the playoff race more intriguing.

The evening game should be most interesting....Cobbers/Royals. Some nice match-ups. A loss would hurt BU's playoff hopes, but not kill them.
