WW, Was that you fraternizing with the enemy on Saturday night. I saw a gentlemen flying the GAC colors sitting with the big three from last years UST team?

I spoke with a couple Tommies after the game and stood next to some Tommie fans as the GAC/UST overflowed in the middle (Big Shocker made me watch his back since he thought one UST fan was trying to pickpocket him)...but I didn't see the Big 3. If I was near them, it was purely accidental and we didn't talk.

DP, set me straight. The suspect in question was Schnettler's younger sibling! Just a case of another intra-family MIAC civil war. ;)

Dear Prime Time Player

1. First off why are you such a creep?  You have way to much time on your hands if you are going as far as looking up peoples facebooks.  That is absolutely creepy, and I have no reason to want to be anonymous I stand by what I said.  Honestly that is the weirdest creepiest thing ever, do you have that lame of a life that you spend your time looking up people you disagree with?

2. Teddy's job is to shut down the other teams stars no matter what it takes.  You would love to have him on whatever sub-par team that you like to cheer for.  Don't question his class when you are the creepy one looking up people on the internet and bashing on threads.

3. I don't care if you look me up or know who I am, I have nothing to hide.  I shouldn't need to hide anything because I wouldn't expect any of the respectable members that post on this site to look up my information.

4. Don't question my knowledge because of my age, just because I don't stalk other posters doesn't mean that I don't know my stuff.  I have read this board for a long time now, and have been an avid MIAC fan for years.  Insult me about my opinions all you want, but lets keep your lame personal attacks out of this.  Don't act like their isn't a ton of bias in this post, it is not something new it is happening all over.  Plus you are the bias one making comments about me being from St. Thomas, and the year I graduate.

5. Of course I am excited about St. Thomas winning the title in what YOU would call an "Off Year".  Well it is funny that a UST off year is far better than what the other teams in the MIAC did.  Also we return every player that plays this year, so you can look forward to another "Off Year" next season I guess.  You can't deny that St. Thomas is the elite program in the MIAC, I invite you to debate this with me.

How about you stop insulting me personally, and have a mature discussion.  How about you save your lame insults for your friends on myspace.  When you would like to discuss MIAC basketball again let me know.

I'd like to take the time to address Dynasty's idiotic comments if the rest of the board doesn't mind...

1) Here was my thought process for being a creep: a) That USTDynasty kid sounds like a complete tool based on his 1st post. b) it was his 1st post so I bet his e-mail isn't hidden yet. c) nope, its a st. thomas e-mail so he is probably on the facebook. d) typed in last name in search box, see some kid 7th or 8th down by name of Eric Burtness, goes to UST, looks like a tool, put two and two together. Took all of 3 minutes...its not rocket science.
2) No, I do not want Teddy on my team. He is a good player but I do not think he is good enough to pull the shenanigans he does.Hey Farva what's the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy **** on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?
3) You should have a lot to hide with the display of your character and personality. How can you talk about  respectability when your school gets a win (of which you had nothing to do) and cannot handle it gracefully?
4) Please point out where I insulted you or made lame personal attacks (other than in this post when I called you a tool).
5) I made fun of St. Thomas in jest (thats what the yellow face winking means) and put down year in quotes because I was acknowledging that they won the conference even though the pre-season consensus was they would struggle. Obviously St. Thomas is one of the elite basketball programs in the MIAC, Fritz is a great coach, but GAC has a more storied history like snowman mentioned.

If you can't take it then don't dish it out. I cannot comprehend how you can talk about maturity or insults when you called several posters morons in your 1st post and said "bring it on." You are a freshman at St. Thomas and are giving a bad name to other UST kids who aren't tools, so do yourself a favor and disappear.

Dynasty,
what were you thinking, I'm a newbie too, but I don't go attacking these other posters.  They've been posting for almost as long as you've been alive... they know more than you'll ever know about MIAC basketball.  just give us your opinions about the game and nothing more at this point.  Watch your boy in their next game and get back to us if you still think he's classy.

Also, it's prime time performer, not prime time player, but you would already know that since you've followed college hoops for so long.

Actually doble, for the purposes of this board its "Prime Time Poster."  ;D

Wow interesting matchups.  The IIAC reps are sent packing two years in a row.  Loras goes to UW-Whitewater.  That's an interesting matchup of teams.

Tommies get Buena Vista.  I saw BV play at the beginning of the year against the Oles. This could be a nice matchup of teams that like to get up & down the floor.  They've got a nice, fireplug like PG - Wagner or something.  Think a slightly taller 5-9, bigger, faster, version of Augsburg's Justin Koslowski. Plus decent size in the posts.

I'll have to go buy a case of Hamm's!

Im assuming that is a case per game...so you need 6 cases to cover ya to the title
After the game, the king and pawn go into the same box.

based on how the NCAA has done it in the past, the first round will be Fri night, with UST in the later game. The first game should be a fun one to watch too.

one first round matchup that sticks out to me is Wooster/Wash U....the survivor of the UST pod will meet this pod's winner (my guess is it will be the winner of Wooster/Wash)...interesting path  :)

The doubleheader is sweet.  Any idea yet if the games will be Thursday or Friday?  The draw on the front page is listing either March 6th or 7th.
