Not a good way to go down for the Tommies....blowing that big a halftime lead to lose by as much as they are....ouch.

TOs, & shooting % key.

Washington 17 Tos in first half, 3 TOs, in 2nd half. At one point in the 2nd half they were 10-13 from the floor.

Washington Big 3 blow out my # to defend of 40 points.  Nading & Wallis alone combined for 43 points.  Unsure how many Thompson had.

UST - at one point was 4-20 from the floor in the 2nd half.

Terrible way to watch them go.  After such a promising first half.  The D gave up so many uncontested layups it was sickening. and 70% shooting? unreal.

And Tinkers to Evers to Chance... (Sensei)

These are the saddest of possible words:
"Tinker to Evers to Chance."
Trio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds,
Tinker and Evers and Chance.
Ruthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,
Making a Giant hit into a double --
Words that are heavy with nothing but trouble:
"Tinker to Evers to Chance."

Very appropriate Chi-town reference!

Can't wait for this one to get started....Wash U has the tournament experience, Tomcats have the Streak.....should be a dandy. Love to see an outcome like last saturday. ;)

You should read what Bill James points out about those Tinkers, Evers, Chance Cubs.  If you want to talk about the team with the most wins in season, most in two consecutive seasons, most in three, etc. up to ten consecutive seasons, those are during the Cubs run of 1904-1913.  Of course, it was an easier game to dominate back then by the best players given that the average player probably wouldn't make today's clubs.

Wash 15-0 run up 50-43.

Gotta believe the T's didn't allow too darn many 15-0 runs this year!

Tough too see them go down without playying their best ball. Wish this match up would have been in Salem.

All in all a tremendous year for T-cats. Congratulations!
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run
