I think it was San Diego State.

Kid could definitely shoot!  Apparently, every single day before school started he would go into the gym & shoot for 45 minutes to an hour - just to "stay loose." Now, this was in addition to regular basketball practice & "serious" shooting workouts.   Every day!

Funny thing on Ranwick, we were getting our tails kicked against UST and I'm sitting in the parents/faculty/staff section as I rarely do.  Well, we're down 20 probably and Ranwick comes in.  Before thinking I say, "Who the heck is this kid?" and Mr. Conboy (the real Mr. Conboy not the Mr. that Local Coach likes to put in front of every MIAC player's last name) gives me a look and kinda nods to the guy next to him.  Turns out I was sitting right behind Ranwick's pops.

Not very conversational but then again his kid wasn't that good.  And sorry but what have you done for me lately...his 3 point % record doesn't mean a whole lot to me in the MIAC.  But, he's got a better stroke than Jepma or TR Dubbs.

PI - The BOLD coach loved my article and the RCW coach is...how do you say...a little intense. I wasn't much concerned with what she had to say about it - she was upset when I was even asking about it, fishing for a good quote. I'm not sure she's smiled in the last five years.

With the way your season is potentially wrapping up, I would think anyone who can walk on the court, can find the basket & actually put the ball in it should be a godsend.

Sorry that last post came across testier than it was meant to be.

Obviously, after enjoying the good times of BVT, Splash, Denny and Assel, I am a bit discouraged with this year's squad.

His record 3 percentage in high school is all I've heard about the kid.  That and he's bounced through schools like an errant pass.

Anyway, I promise to be a gracious host at the Cookout to everyone--assuming some of you are able to come out from behind your monikers.

Sounds like sloppy play in the CAR vs SJU game. Johnnies lead 27-26 with 3:19 to play. The Johnnies have 9 TO's right now and CAR is close to that. Zach Johnson and "Big Dan" are carrying the Knights right now......oh wait is that out of the ordinary?!?!
