Much like 6'5 300lb linemen in the WIAC and at MUC(k), there is usually a good reason a 7 footer isn't playing DI or D II ball.

In D-I the 7-footer has to be able to walk AND chew gum at the same time.  In D-II, he has to be able to walk.  In D-III, it's all about the gum....

In football terms, the DI 300 lber must be able to waddle 40 yards in 8.1 and bench press a bus, D II- must be able to bench press the bus, D III is all about the waddle.

If the BB 7-footer can't chew the gum, it's used as stickum to keep him firmly glued to the bench.  In the case of Stout, they appear to have matching bookends for their bench.
