i still am just not sure about this whole concordia over hamline issue.  I realize eckhoff is a good player but hamline lost absolutely no one from last year and was only 3 games behind concordia who lost soren nelson a pretty important person for them last year.  Second in scoring for the team at 15ppg plus he was a big body which helps in many other aspects of the game.  i also dont understand how miac superfan can call sam weiner unproven at best??  If im not mistaken he started everygame as a freshman for Southwest state who may not be a powerhouse but is d2 level and play tough competition.

Tjones33- I find it hard to believe you graduated based on your mispellings of elementary level words.  It is a good thing you are a better basketball player than you are speller or Bethel would have had a rough past 2 years

Been hearing lots of things about the upcoming season, and here are a few things I've been thinking about.

1) The teams who have been near the top will continue to rise. GAC and UST will have some epic battles this year.

2) I think UST has a lot of talent, and the team that will give them the most trouble will be... UST. This team could implode, but if they stay together and really mesh, then watch out.

3) GAC will be solid. The thing about GAC is they go deep on the bench every year, and all their guys have a role and perform well. I really like this team, and think they have what it takes. Plus, GAC is great at coming up big in huge MIAC games.

4) Everyone's been talking about Eckhoff, Eckhoff, Eckhoff for POY. Must I remind everyone about A certain beast from CAR? That guy is scary. Almost wish I'd know who's better, him or his cousin...

5) Still though, CON is a great team. That bus ride probably will always help their home record.

6) I like SMU to be a contneder this year, but I said that last year as well. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...
